The potato chip thread --- what's your favorite?
It's been about 6 months since I bought any, but tonight I seem to be craving them. Probably buy some the next time I hit the store for groceries.
Last few times I bought them though, I was on a Pringles kick for some reason. But there are like 25,000 kinds in the snacks aisle, which ones are the best these days? I'm up for something new. |

So kettle cooked is that way to go then?
We have brands that have kettle-cooked varieties, but not that brand. At least I don't think we do, haven't seen it yet. |

Flaming hot? Just how hot we talking? Hot hot, or just wussy hot? I think I'd like flaming hot Lays. I'll have to keep my eyes open for that. Thanks. |

false there are many kettles that are sold in healtstores with non greasey oils and healthy vegetable oils etc and still preserve its taste |
I am a total health nut. That's why I started a thread about potato chips.
I hear that redbull is now available here in Manitoba. One day this week I will go for groceries and buy a few 24 packs of it, and a wheelbarrow-load of 19 different kinds of chips, along with my usual supply of low-fat milk, whole grain cereal, fruit, fresh veggies, and extra lean meats. Time to satiate my cravings. |

Funions?? Don't think I've had them before. Anyone else think funions are worth getting? |

There have been some good chips that come and go. One that comes to mind is Double Dutch Salt and Vinegar. You could barely eat 10 of these before your mouth shriveled up, but they were so good. My absolute favourite is Tim's Cascade Cajun flavoured chips....not the bbq, but cajun. I am from Canada and I would make a special trip down to the US to buy a few bags (4) every couple months. Last time I went I couldn't find them anywhere. I searched and I searched a few stores and I had people calling around for them. Chips aren't even worth eating anymore unless they are Tim's Cascade Cajun. if you can find me these chips and either send them yourself of find me a way to send them, I will paypal you $20. :helpme

Get over yourself. Try not to be such a coont, if you can at all help it. How you could not see it was said in jest is beyond me. Even a complete idiot would have spotted the humor. You sure they don't make midol flavored chips? |
