Found it, yes.

Say, do you really pay one pound-eighty-five for a 200g bag of chips over there?? Holy sheet, that's over $4 Cdn.

Those better be bloody marvelous chips. :winkwink:

Cry all you want, you're not getting the Tim's chips.

I'll save them for someone who doesn't go from zero-to-bitch in under ten seconds. :1orglaugh

You should see me when I have PMS. Remember that note to yourself earlier and stick by it, don't fuck with me, ever!

You mean you aren't currently PMS'ing?

How you have not already been tried for murder I'll never know.

My note to self is on a post-it. I stuck it inside the toilet and will bulls-eye it all day after I wake up.

CDSmith 10-18-2004 02:41 AM

Kelly, are you ready for this? Here's the deal on lobster chips.....

Ten 200g bags of Burt's lobster chips, shipped to Canada, will cost me......

are you sure you're ready for this?.......

$151.72 Cdn.

Will I be spending $151.72 on ten bags of chips anytime soon?

Anyone? Anyone?

Was worth a look-see though.

Damn!!!

Well I did pay £1.69 for a pack yesterday - since I first tried them around 6 months ago they are the ONLY chips I'll eat, I have them around once a month as a treat :)

You'll just have to vacation somewhere that sells them.

CDSmith 10-18-2004 02:57 AM

Yep. Ten bags would cost me £66.99 total including shipping.

I nearly shat myself.

Guess I'll stick with whatever I can find on the store shelves here.:xomunch

Lees' hoagie house chips.

Salt and Vinegar..mmmm...

Only for those that are in Philly since its REAL small chain of stores for hoagies out here.

Goatse 10-19-2004 07:43 AM

Another vote for Cape Code chips. I could eat those BBQ chips every day of my life.

LadyMischief 10-19-2004 07:44 AM

Generally I don't eat a lot of chips or snacks, I prefer crackers.. but I do enjoy Mrs. Vinellli's Sea Salt and Malt Vingar chips every now and then.

Oh yeah, when it comes to plain chips, nothing tastes better :)

Slick 10-19-2004 07:59 AM

I REALLY miss "O'Gradys Au'gratin" chips. Does anyone else remember them ?? Those were the thick potato chips.

With there being sooo many varieties, you'd think that they'd bring the idea of thick potato chips back out into the market to compete. I'm sure they'd be a hit.

I think I'd like flaming hot Lays. I'll have to keep my eyes open for that. Thanks.

They won't kill you or anything, but they're hot enough to make your nose runny after you've eaten about 10 or 15. :) I always settle down with a glass of milk when I eat them. LOL

They are soooooo good. But they're kind of hard to find.

Funyuns are pretty good, too. But Flamin' Hot Lays and Herr's Salt and Pepper chips kick ass. I also like steak flavored chips but I haven't seen any locally. They're hard to find, too.

Oh, and Herr's has good ketchup flavored chips, too.

Lays S&V

aSStig 10-19-2004 07:24 PM

i like pringles too . .. . .
but any chips would do as long as it has a good dip on it . .. .

Speaking of dip, I make my own homemade onion dip that alot of people tell me is really good. I think it's best on Ruffles, but just about any kind of chip is good with it.

Here is the recipe if anyone wants to try it:

4 Tbsp. dried minced onion
1 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
1 Tbsp. onion powder
16 ounces of sour cream
salt to taste

Soak the minced onion and parsley in warm water for about 5 minutes. Drain. Mix onion and parsley along with onion powder, sour cream and salt to taste.

Easy and really good. You can adjust the ingredients to your tastes, too. I like lots of onion powder in mine.

baddog 10-19-2004 07:32 PM

not much of a chip guy, but when I do, Sun Chips Original style

My favorite chip is Zapp's Cajun Crawtaters:thumbsup

Someone asked about Jalapeno, Zapp's has those too.

cosis 10-19-2004 08:00 PM

my favorite were pizzaria's until they stopped making them

I'm not a fan of the ordinary potato chip. Cape Cop potato chips blows them all away. Second place goes to Baked Lay's.

Ruffles, cheddar and sourcream. mmmmm

garce 10-19-2004 09:13 PM

If you like hot, spicy chips, keep your eyes open for "Blair's Death Rain" Habanero chips. They will kick your ass. Good stuff.

webmaster x 10-19-2004 09:15 PM

I don't eat chips that much but when I do, my favorite flavor = Salt and Vinegar.

DX 10-19-2004 09:15 PM

Ruffles & Doritos

Drake 10-19-2004 09:36 PM

Hey are Doritos bad for you? I love Doritos and have a craving for them right now. I have a bag that I bought last week in my cupboard. How healthy or unhealthy is it?

C_U_Next_Tuesday 10-19-2004 09:39 PM

Any of you PA people remember "Sticks" potato chips.....they are out of business now..but Kay & Rays are almost a replacement.....add some cream cheese and you are set.
