My step dad to be's nephew is preparing to go out their to work as a personaly bodyguard for $800 per day. He will be protecting some of the top oil company bosses.

He's only 22 years old, he's done specialist training with the SAS for the last 3 months in preperation. His mother is worried sick about him but because he got himself in some debt here, he's left the normal British Army to be one of these bodyguards.

I considder myself as being intelligent and able to get that amount of money without riscing my life.

Many people aren't that gifted or comming out of bad circumstances and especialy with the high poverty rate in the US it's a good chance to earn good money for lots of people.

But of course it's no job for people who are willing to risc their lifes but don't have any skills in guarding people in war like situations.Mostly cops or well trained body guards got that kind of job offers.

There is a shiek that comes to the states all the time, and hires body guards. If you have the training, he pays 2k per 12 hour day. If you spend the night at the hotel, it is 3k for the 24 hour period, and he will call you again when he comes back.

But he is suck a pain in the ass.

They pay cash that they carry in brief cases.

I know a guy that dose this for Hilbertian.. He is tough nuts ex Army Ranger that survived getting shot up in the Somalia deal. I believe he in Iraq now, they normally send him there for two weeks at a time.. 2 on 2 off.

Bad thing is these guys get no real support like our troops get.. so if they get caught up in something they are pretty much on their own.

I'll sit in my cozy air-conditioned house, working on porn in my underwear for $25K a month ... sounds a lot safer to me!

I would do it on the condition that I'm allowed to carry a firearm with me at all times.

I've pondered us sending some life sentence convicts over there strapped with explosives. Require that they rome freely in the militant areas posing as western workers. Make them serve 12 month tours. If they manage to live - reduce their sentences to 20 years. If they don't, hopefully they had the guts to push the button after the would-be captors eshewed them into their car.

Hopefully that won't happen. But to answer your question, no he doesn't get it. Its my step dads nephew, his sisters son....

He gets a high powered rifle with him at all times. He drives a bomb proof car supplied by the Oil Company.

He has all the high tech equipment that these normal Soldiers don't have.

i get at least 1 email a day to bodyguards.com offering up to 1800 a day!!!

Oh and I was mistaken, the guy is 27 years old. His younger brother is 22. I got them mixed up.
