english into spanish

Hi
is there a site or program that will translate english into spanish?
For a story?
Thanks

www.freetranslation.com but its not extremely accurate. I have a friend who is fluent in both who would probably do it for cheap. what length is the story.

http://www.online-translator.com

Not entirely accurate, but good enough for an online translator.

I use them to translate Russian. They also translate Spanish, Italian, German, and French.

Your best bet is to either learn Spanish, or hire someone that speaks Spanish fluently (and English of course).

For a quick translation, yes, babelfish.altavista.com is the most accurate. Now, please, don't try to use an automatic translator for building a web site, the results are always laughable, most probably you won't get any extra sales. Translating a tour and not the members area usually pisses off the non english speaking surfers, but still works if the member area navigation is simple. Btw, about 15% of my US joins come from spanish speaking surfers, and spanish keywords are cheap (so far)

My wife has used the altavista thing a few times, and she says that it is crappy for things that are technical and things that are outside of everyday language.

You may just want to hire someone to do it for you.

Unless you want your end-users to get a good laugh out of it - forget about translation software.
