:1orglaugh

What a bunch of sore losers.............what will they say THE NEXT TIME Kerry kicks Bush's ass in the next 2 debates?

Heh heh

SuckOnThis 10-03-2004 12:27 PM

Do you expect anything different from a group of people that would go so far as to steal an election?

baddog 10-03-2004 12:33 PM

that is quite interesting . . . .what do you think it was, a piece of Juicy Fruit gum or something? He obviously took something from his pocket and was unfolding it

Wiggles 10-03-2004 12:33 PM

its a debate, to answer one of those question the paper would need to be the size of a bloody chart.

you never made a cheat sheet in school? will there is a will, there is a way . . . .besides, cheat sheets don't have the entire debate on it, just certain numbers and points that you want to be sure to bring up.

All those shots of Kerry scribbling while Bush was talking could easily be his doing just that, scribbling while reading his notes

They were allowed to bring their own notepads.

And what were you guys saying in 2000?
Bush won the election, get over it. Well I guess we can play that game too.

He is pulling out a pen idiots...

Amazing, poor Bush fuckheads are starting to sweat I guess...

Sorry its just a fact Senator's are the ultimate Debaters, anyone that had any question about Kerry not beating Bush in a debate is a fool.

Whats Bush's level in debates? He does not got much of a background in it. It was an easy kill for Kerry.

hydro 10-03-2004 12:45 PM

this is an outrage, bush would never cheat a debate or steal an election. Kerry should be stoned to death for this.

WickedVenus 10-03-2004 01:03 PM

I dont think it is going to change anyones mind, he still answered the questions better than bush, and for gods sake it was only a pen, like that pen would do anything different than bushes earpiece he was wearing.

Bush's Earpiece

dig420 10-03-2004 01:05 PM

you fuckhead republicans idolize a goddam moron. Your right to vote should be stripped.

Bansheelinks 10-03-2004 01:17 PM

I don't know about this earpiece theory..........i'd have to see evidence of it

I doubt it. Nobody could possibly be that stupid besides Bush.

Did you read the link provided? Yes, they could bring notepads and pens which they had to present and the items would be placed on the podium for them to insure there were no notes on them

as far as what I was saying in 2000, it was probably along the lines of "what the hell happened in FL? This is a perfect example to those of you that don't vote, because you think it doesn't matter, that you need to get off your asses and vote, as every vote is important."

I did not want Bush then or now, doesn't change anything. Look at the video, if it wasn't chewing gum, he has some 'splaining to do

Guess you can't read either:
Quote:

"No props, notes, charts, diagrams, or other writings or other tangible things may be brought into the debate by either candidate.... Each candidate must submit to the staff of the Commission prior to the debate all such paper and any pens or pencils with which a candidate may wish to take notes during the debate, and the staff or commission will place such paper, pens and pencils on the podium..."
and where do you get pens that you have to unwrap like that anyway?

It is clearly a pen first of all.

Second, it said this was during a commercial break. You know, those pens that are placed on the podium for them aren't chained. Why does it have to be some mystery pen? Dude put the pen he was writing with in his pocket.

stocktrader23 10-03-2004 01:49 PM

I actually heard Bush say "let me finish" when I watched it live and couldn't figure out who the hell he was talking to. Wonder what was up with that?

Oh please, get over yourself. Why would Kerry have to cheat? They were all questions he has answered before.

The bottom line is Bush fumbled, fucked up, and looked like complete doofus and now their desperate. Typical Repuke tactics.

And if you want to get into details there was at least one time I saw that Lehrer skipped giving Kerry his 30 seconds after Bush had his.

Gynecologist 10-03-2004 02:02 PM

Why would ANYONE need to cheat in a debate against the chimp?

That would be like cheating on your GED test.

Maybe the moderator made an expression which he mistook as a "times almost up" signal?

I guess he couldn't see the panel of lights 6 inches from his face that serve to show when time is almost up then. ;)

Well read it.
Kerry did not bring it into the debate. It was not a subject.

They were permitted to have Pen and Paper for which notes and such can be derived during the debate.

You are truly clueless.

titmowse 10-03-2004 03:07 PM

yeah yeah yeah. and zealous dems are claiming that dubya wore an earpiece so he could get tips...

i think what's more interesting is that during the debate, kerry wrote notes in pen. bush wrote his in pencil...:)

Webmaster_Logic 10-03-2004 03:14 PM

the Kerry staffer laughed, adding, "See you at the inauguration, Drudge" :1orglaugh

I'll give you a few answers for that..

A) Bush thought the debate was multiple choice, therefore needing a number 2 pencil.

B) Bush needed to be able to erase his answer in case he got it wrong.

C) The evil democrats played a dirty trick on him and stoled his presidential pen.

An exellent Newsweek article about the debates is at http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6161680/site/newsweek/

'An impatient character, Bush kept shifting his weight and sipping water. He sometimes scribbled notes so furiously with an oversize Sharpie pen that photographers in the wings could hear it squeaking. '

pornguy 10-03-2004 03:22 PM

Bush never got out of 4th grade, and was never allowed ti use a pen

No. Drudge is firmly in the Kerry camp. As is Rush Limbaugh, The Washington Post and Fox TV.

:1orglaugh :1orglaugh

you know what I hate the most? All these assholes who keep trying to say they're not 'pro-Bush' when you see them in every political thread saying something pro-Bush or anti-Kerry.

If you're embarassed to publically come out in support of the man you obviously favor maybe you need to re-examine your position.
