If you like having homicidal maniacs who can't explain their ridiculous positions as your representative, more power to you. The Deep South is evil. It's the swing of the Dixie Democrats to the Republican Party that made them the anti-intellectual, pro-racism party they are today. We had to go to war with you people just to keep this nation from being a nightmarish slave state in the 1800's, and I imagine the South will always be our darker half. What goes thru your simple heads I can't imagine, but guys like Zell Miller probably do represent the constituency in your area pretty accurately.

Too bad so many of them use a very broad agenda to get elected, then they vote against so many topics that they pretend to stand for. I think Bush made some good points about this to Kerry.

"Kerry voted for us to go to war, and Kerry saw the same intelligence that I saw, but now he is saying that its the wrong war at the right time."

-Five minutes later-

Kerry: "I am going to finish iraq, in every way that the president failed."

Its just a mess.

no, lawmaking is a SKILL involving an enormous amount of give and take, compromise and intricate negotiation as well as a thorough knowledge of labyrinthine parliamentary procedure. Regarding your intelligence quote, that's already been addressed in this thread and I'm not backtracking for people too lazy to read the whole thread before they post.

The party that tells you to 'watch what you say' and won't let a man fuck a man if that's what gets his dick hard? The Anti-drug, anti-subversive, anti free-speech party?

Tell me how a Libertarian who believes in minimal govt. power votes for the administration that wants drastically INCREASED police and government power?

I did read the whole thread, and i`m not exposing anyone, i made that quote to back up my comments.

Intricate negotiation. I don't like the idea of a bunch of people negotiating for my rights, and for me to pay more taxes, so they can spend more money in another country that doesn't affect me.

I want people that will stand for our Borders, Language, and Culture. Those things are *why* there is such a mess of people, like you, speaking about things they believe they understand.

But I'm glad you DO vote locally :)

I don't think that is a problem, my GF is mexican, and My family is an immigrated family, however, I believe that the people that pour into this country illegally are not helping the forward progress. That is all. I don't like going to the DMV and looking thru four languages of forms just to find the English one. And, there was a time that immigrants took pride in learning english, and trying to blend into the general American culture.

Tom_PMs 10-04-2004 01:07 PM

He cheated, lol good one.

In ohio the republicans tried to pass a law that voter registrations were invalid unless on a certain weight of paper.

Thats because in ohio the democrat registrations are up 275%, while republican is up 25%.

And i`m not anti-immigrant. I am anti-anti-american.

I don't like it when I walk outside or go to the store and it just doesn't feel like America.

I was in the mountains over the weekend and met an Italian guy that was hunting, great guy, and he still had values. He wasn't the type whose kids come here, grow uup in daycare, then end up on the streets, or stealing something.

The other day I was cut off by some woman in a Honda Civic, who had a large printed out paper with Bush's head on it, and below it said "One Term President" - Lately, the majority of ignorant drivers I see, either have a Kerry sticker, a weird remark, or a few dozen rock band stickers.

Let's see . . . .Peaches says she isn't going to vote for Bush, yet you keep implying that she is.

You ask me numerous times who I am voting for, and when I finally tell you, you say you don't care.

You ask me why I don't think Kerry is qualified, and then follow it up by saying you don't care what my position is.

So, what do you want to attribute it to? I thought being high was letting you off with a valid excuse. If you prefer to run with "I don't care what anyone else thinks if it doesn't agree with me" then so be it.

I don't care who you or Peaches is going to vote for, I ask because you constantly defend Bush and then say you're not voting for him. I didn't see where you said who you're actually voting for. I didn't see where you said exactly why you think Kerry isn't qualified, you ask me to root thru your earlier threads. Right. I'm not that concerned.

You make statements in this thread then you avoid justifying them by telling me to 'do a search'. I just don't care.

If you want to be thought of as an 'Intellectual Terrorist' though, you're gonna have to do better than that.

John Kerry is more likely to start the draft? Did you fall off that bike a lot over the years or what? No helmet?

Do you realize Bush is building 14 permanent bases there and John Kerry said loud and clear that he would not keep troops in Iraq permanently? I know Fox wants to tell you that's the same position but it's not, in fact it's the exact opposite. The Kerry/Edwards ticket has said that there will not be a draft under their administration, Bush has not. These things should be very easy to understand, I don't know where you guys get lost or confused.
