I took my brothers friend (a harvard lawyer) to a blues club, time to go, bouncers tells us to get up and head toward the door, we say ok and start polishing our beer, he says "didnt you fucking hear what I said??" and grabs my bro's friend, I had to jump on him to make sure the guy didnt get hurt.

these 10 dollar an hour assholes think they are working for britney spears.

I was a bouncer for a few years and I know what you are talking about. I really just went there and chilled and was well liked by the ladies. But there were a lot of assholes and once they showed there true colors they got fired quick. I was close to one of the owners and he trusted my opinion. I just went to have fun and get paid for it. Hey just remember that if a bouncer lays a hand on you it's assault and you can sue the club also because he was working for them...

Being a bouncer doesn't mean shit most bouncers quit after the first night. It was just a job too me. I really went there to chill and once in awhile there was trouble but nothing that was a big deal...

Quite a few did, yes. There actually were some "big deals" at several of the clubs I worked, but it was handled evenly and nobody got injured.

Not like today, with shootings and stabbings going on outside clubs (and inside), one guy was shot to death just this year outside a Winnipeg club. Times have changed.

A few were, yes. Don't know about now, I don't hit the clubs much anymore. Been there done that type of thing.

I haven't worked asa bouncer for a few years now but as of last november my friend dave was still working at the club and he saw a guy get shot in the head about 5 feet in front of him. It was all over a silly beef that the black guy wa leaning on the asian kids car in front of the club and the asian kid went into his car and got a gun and put it in the face of the black guy. The black guy said that he didn't have the balls to do it but sure enough the guy shot him in the head. I'm glad i'm out of that shit now I have a wife and 2 kids I don't need to be dealing with the punks that are out there these days that will shoot you for a pair of shoes...
