First thought: you have to be quite the fuckwit to

A) show up to a Dem event and blaze your Bush sign like a shitstick

and

B) Bring your young daughter with you when you know there could be conflict.

Second thought: I'm all for free speech and freedom of expression. One must use a modicum of common sense though since others in this world might not share your view of what "rights" you think you deserve.

You bet it was mean. I'm just saying it seems to me the guy was an idiot for exposing his little girl to that, it could have got uglier than that I'm sure.

Let's see a smirking Dem stand there with an in-your-face sign at a similar event for Bush-Cheney and the exact same thing could very well happen, probably has happened many times.
