Anyone still think Kerry has a chance?

It's getting worse each and everyday. 11 points down in the latest Time poll and their campaign is divided with talk of serious changes, this late in the campaign.

I honestly think it's not going to be very close.

Morgan 09-05-2004 09:58 PM

yes, he won it all tonight. you missed the election?

Illicit 09-05-2004 10:04 PM

no chance at all... 4 more years !

I wont vote for him just because of his skank wife.

mardigras 09-05-2004 10:10 PM

He's going to have to do extremely well in the debates.

Al Gore was known for is debating skills and was expected to easily win the debates with George Bush...but...if I remember correctly George Bush was credited with winning all of the debates...except for one. I do not view Senator Kerry as having great debating skills.

theking 09-05-2004 10:15 PM

Double post.

Plan9 09-05-2004 10:17 PM

I hope he'll win - but I have my doubts. Really hasn't been looking to good for him lately.

SpikeHeel 09-05-2004 10:19 PM

i don't think so. he's a boring speaker! :sleep

webcrawler 09-05-2004 11:11 PM

The race will surely be tight... Bush will win again. Lots of doubt on Kerry's plans.

Corona 09-05-2004 11:24 PM

Kerry is going to win.

Unless:

1. The Supreme Court gets to decide.

2. Bush declares martial law.

3. There is a major terrorist attack in the US within 15 days of the election.

sixone 09-05-2004 11:27 PM

11 Points isn't that great of a lead. Especially considering that the GOP convention just went down. I'll decrease.

If it was up to Bush 90% of the us would be out of a job. And 70% of that 90% would be mopping floors at McDonalds. How an Adult Webmaster (or anything else Adult for that matter) can vote Republican is beyond me. Yes you may have money and may want to protect it against taxes but......your livelyhood is at stake if this guy serves for another 4 years.

badmunchkin 09-05-2004 11:29 PM

it sucks that he's so far behind - I can't even begin to comprehend how the majority of America believes Bush is a good leader - I'm losing any faith in this country

When Bill Mahr starts saying Kerry has no shot we're fucking doomed.

BMF

SuckOnThis 09-05-2004 11:49 PM

BTW, the Time poll doesnt mean shit. The poll was taken from their own subscribers and the latest Time magazine has Bush right on the front cover. So people received this right wing rag in the mail and a few days later they get a call from Time. The magazine was probably sitting right in front of them at the time with Bush staring them right in the face.

A more accurate poll is the Rasmussen Reports Presidential Tracking Poll, which takes polls daily. Their latest poll for 9/5 shows Bush only having a 2 point lead. Not very good considering it hasnt even been a week since the Republican hatefest.

Do you really think?

Mutt 09-06-2004 12:01 AM

Kerry campaign has been probably the worst i've seen in my lifetime. the election is over. guaranteed. and i'm not happy about it. if anybody thinks this election is a dead heat i'm up for a wager - just name how much action you want.

number 1 concern for adult webmasters is how aggressively the new 2257 regs are going to be enforced - i've been looking around - hahaha - 80% of webmasters arent even compliant with the old regs - no more than 5% of webmasters will be in compliance with the new regs - unless they start dumping alot of content.

more worrisome if you're in your 20's is possibility of the draft coming back.

With the media supporting the Bush campaign, he's a shoein. We need a REAL election system. The media has WAY too much power over it's audience.

TURN OFF YOUR FUCKING TVs! Read and educate yourself on the issues at hand, and vote based on your own knowledge. Stop being spoon-fed Teleknowledge.

It will never happen in America.

TV is the real drug of this nation. It lets the big corporations and the goverment keep the public fat and stupid.

As Bill Hicks used to say,

"I can't watch TV longer than 5 minutes without praying for nuclear holocaust."

It took a lot of backbone to defend the Gulf of Mexico during Vietnam. :1orglaugh

Bush is driving his car towards a cliff but is to stuborn to admit he was wrong. So he continues until he goes off the edge. The only problem is we are along for the ride.

Corona 09-06-2004 02:36 AM

And Dick Cheney got 5 deferments during the war.

His excuse?

"I had other priorities in the '60s than military service."

I'm sure many of the 58,000 who died also had "other priorities".

Kerry Is Gonna' Win By a Landslide!

You heard it here first: Dubaya is out this bitch. John Kerry is going to be our next president and YOU are going to have to deal with it! Yeah, I know, this is a brash statement. I?m just sick of all this pre-election bullshit that seems to be injecting politics into everything -- it?s fucking pointless and it?s BORING! I can tell you this: As sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, as sure is Scott Perterson is a mur-diddly-urdler, and as sure as when I am done writing this homepage I will login Euro Sex Parties to rough up my suspect till I cover this keyboard in a frothy man spackle?

Kerry is gonna be our next president.

Polls ask VOTERS who they will vote for. These polls call on VOTERS who have actually bothered to take part in the political process in the past. Well it ain't the VOTERS that will decide this next election! Speculation about the upcoming election ends HERE. This is my poll and it is the only one that matters:

From what I've heard:

Around 50% of people say they will vote for Bush.
Around 50% of people say they will vote for Kerry.
Around 10% are ?swing voters? who constitute the ?undecided?.

Newsflash: Statistically speaking, 50% of people do not vote!

Fuck off you flimflamming 10% undecided morons -- you represent only 5% of the public anyway! This is as sure as I will be deleting your bloated Dubaya loving emails without reading them tomorrow, as sure as Michael Jackson fucks little boys, and as sure as I am readying my Bang Brother's Keyboard-Sperm-Guard to protect this computer from merciless sortie of dong malt that is about to be hurled in it's direction -- at least 11% of the 50% of the people who don't usually vote will go resister to get rid of George Bush because he is JUST THAT HORRIBLE!

Then again, you can use stats and statistics to back most anything -- 63% of people know that.

I'm not a John Kerry fan at all. Kerry is bad -- not bad like Mao Tse Tung or Grey Davis bad; more just Millard Fillmore bad. This country will gladly accept four years of mediocre leadership just because Kerry is NOT AS HORRIBLE as George Bush. That's why only 50% of people have voted in the past -- one mediocre candidate vs. another mediocre candidate -- in 2004 its one mediocre candidate vs. the Anti-Christ.

I'm not trying to change anyone's vote or to even to get anyone out to the polls at all -- I'm just sick and tired politics being interjected in my pop culture! Every channel, every comedian, every awards show, every god-damn-everything is about this impending election and I'm fucking worn-out! I need to get back to the issues that really affect my life: What about Mary-Kate Olsen's drug problem? When is there going to be an all original Carcass reunion? What the fuck is with Ashley Simpson's nose? Is Chinese Democracy really ever gonna come out?

Jesus-Fucking-Christ?we are America and America wants answers!

This is the kind of information that needs to be in the limelight; not all of this nonsensical yammering over who is going to be our next president. It's going to be John Kerry, so ya'll just STOP FUCKING ARGUEING ABOUT IT! We've been beaten into submission; we are tired and bloated on the blubber of speculation! America is going on the Adkins's Diet! No more CARBS ? that's right NO MORE FUCKING CARBS!

C = Cheney
A = Ashhahahahaha
R = Rumsfeld
B = Bush

Now stop arguing about it already!

OK, that's off my chest - whew! :) I've got to go now ? there's a hot 19 year old chick with braces patiently waiting for me to serve her a hot steaming bowl of American Man Bisque over at Mr. Chews Asian Beaver!

Babagirls 09-06-2004 03:14 AM

as of today, Kerry is down by 11 points.

but Kerry and Clinton talked yesterday for an hour and Clinton told him to basically drop the "I served in the War.." shit and start callin out Bush more and telling the people what has been going on and what HE wants to do to fix things back up.

hopefully that will help. :glugglug

AsianDivaGirlsWebDude 09-06-2004 03:14 AM

Dubya is gonna fuck over the adult industry if he and Ashhahahahaha get half a chance, so do everything you can do (if you want to preserve the adult industry), to turn that mutha out...

CHMOD 09-06-2004 06:20 AM

If Bush is reelected, this will really be the final proof that americans are the most dumbest people in the entire world.

TheWildcard 09-06-2004 06:22 AM

yes, no, maybe?

ezrydn 09-06-2004 06:39 AM

First off, the Kerry campaign is imploding. His staff is already involved with "in-fighting."

Some think that the American Public is swayed by "talking heads," polls, spin doctors and such. You sure don't give your fellow citizens credit for anything. Could it be that you're wrong and the American Public is right? Ever think about that? People are always ready to say someone will lose because of "this and that." The real reason Kerry will lose is the people of this country don't trust or want him.

There's a lot of discussion around about the 'new' laws we are facing. Yet, above in this thread, it's stated that many, MANY of you still are NOT complying with the OLD rules. Hey, bitch and worry all you want. Compliance means you have no fears. If you do what they want, what the hell are they gonna come against you for? It's called play the game and find creative ways to jump through the hoops. The porn industry isn't special. This factor is EVERYWHERE today.

I always have to laugh when those who are not American comment on our leadership decisions. What a joke. Look at the leaders THEY elected. Now, THERE's the joke! So, no, we won't elect the same sort of wus that you did (or would).

While it is true that Dubya could possibly fall on his face during the debates, I seriously doubt that will happen. Presidents know a bit more about what's going on in the world than absent Senators.

NoCarrier 09-06-2004 06:41 AM

Bush will win. Get used to it. :glugglug

Mojiteaux 09-06-2004 06:43 AM

Kerry is the best finisher. He will make it

You americans are fucking dumb ... this will be the biggest choice ever you will have to make and you will vote for this scumbag bush ? you don't understand you are just doomed if he gets re-elected ?

Melody 09-06-2004 11:25 AM

Jay's right. This poll shit is a combination of Republican chicanery and convention bounce. It's already starting to dissolve if you investigate the numbers.

We have the PPV and DVD release of Fahrenheit 911 just ahead. Bush has bad PR hitting the press every day. He's going to sink down to where he was before, with most of his voters simply choosing not to vote.

Kerry's voters HATE Bush and are motivated to get the vote out.

>If Bush is reelected, this will really be the >final proof that americans are the most >dumbest people in the entire world

Most dumbest? Ooookay.

Anyone who believes that Americans are the most *anything* is a bigot who should not be listened to. The vast majority of Americans either are apathetic toward the political process or HATE George Bush. How are we the "dumbest"? We're just humans with foibles like everybody else.

The bigots are really out in droves today.

DoctorDre, I hoped for better from you.

Americans are enemy #1 to this administration. We're at the front line for their abuse. Why in the world the people of the US are held to be responsible for their forced choices when the population of Guatemala or North Korea is not, is beyond me.

The only answer is the bigotry from without.
