Yahoo Search Results Are All FUCKED UP
 

Is it me or the Yahoo! search results are seriously fucked up.. It's been like that for almost 3 days..

Look at the search results for "sex pictures"

What's weird is that I get those results using IE. But with FireFox I get different search results.

It was not *THAT* bad 3 days ago..

the 3 days have been record days for me at Yahoo. I went from 500 hits a day to 2,000,000 hits.

shit they have been fucked every sence they ditched google.. the shit you get when you do searches has probably a 10% chance of being on topic.. with yahoo.

For example I lost my top spots on Yahoo.. but the listings were still there, my sites were listed but when you clicked on the link it went to someone else site.. Like I had a number 1 teen listing and if you click through on the link it went to some back hoes site..

Their data base was so fucked up when they first switched and I still think it is. I still have the number one listings on several google terms but you search the same terms on yahoo and I'm no where. It's not like my sites are spam sites and they have content that is niche related. But the sites listed in my place are total crap and nothing but spam pages..

My Overture Paid Inclusion revenues are right on track -- and that's all I give a shit about from Yahoo.

I have been seeing commercials from my isp where I live and they are always talking about family safe internet experence. and they always seems to knock adult sites but you won't notice it unless if your looking for it.

Im telling you what i see. when i use my browser or just a straight connection they dont give me those results. They give me normal results..

If i go into i.e. and turn my adult filter on , i get the exact same results as you displayed in your picture..

I have 3 computers around they all show same results ( normal porn links ) . When query thru proxy they also show same results..

I'm not the only one experiencing those results.. All the major SEO message boards are talking about it..

So yes, I usually do some research before.

try turning your adult filter ON and see if it gives you the same results or different results..

This last month while searching yahoo , i have noticed occasionly the adult search filter ( or something ) altering the results. i.e. i searched 2 keywords and then got a strange result, so searched again same keywords got a different ( normal ) result..

But in all the times i have noticed this glitch ( maybe a few hundred times in total ) it always returned to normal within a few clicks..

well that rules that out now doesn't it.. very strange it is obviously 2 different results in i.e. with filters changed.

I'm not the only one experiencing those results. And it's been doing that for almost 4 days now. So the few clicks will fix it isn't valid for that case. People are talking about it on the WebmasterWorld forum

I really don't understand what they are testing.. I also never understood why they tested that kind of shit with live servers..

They have different datacenters.. Maybe you're getting results from the "non-affected yet" ones.

You alter someones searches with spyware to search for keywords + * a random string that is only found on your search pages *


Someone could exploit that right now by making keyword pages plus the term 200 and YRT or whatever it was... i bet you could start picking up hits by next week

Notice all your searches are appended with certain keywords like YST and 200 so you are really searching for

SEX+PICTURES+200+YST
