not sure , but its possible to affect what your typing in boxes on any client any proxy :)

But you cant deny its highliting search terms that aren't ones you used like YST and 200 and that doesn't sound like a "new algorithm" it sounds like a typo somewhere, notice the pictures&u is highlited as well in all your pictures

there are ways to discern if is spyware appending what you type in boxes though..

Open i.e. and go into yahoo mail or something not related to the search and use a search box , login box etc and see if it works normally ..

This is interesting! When using Firefox, the SERPs look good, all the authority sites are there.

When using Explorer, they look pretty bad.

I ran the usual spybot programs with no effect.

Is there a new spybot about that anybody has heard about that would do this?

<UPDATE> Well, I cleard the cookies and low and behold the results were good again. There is a strange cookie about that is causing results to have huge difference. That is probably why some people are seeing it and others are not.

same problem here.
works fine in Opera but not in IE.

Why would I feel silly? Some guy on another message board found the problem. But we still don't know what was that cookie, and what was it's purpose.

I jus tried it out and switched the filter off. Then I went to images search and did the search. And I found out that at images search this adult filter wasn´t switched off. There is a ltextlink which teels you "safemodus on". So i had to switch it off again and thean it worked.

Yahoo has sucked ever since they added the Google results and added the popups everywhere. Most annoying site to search for anything. They went from being awesome to complete shit.

i think you can just stick the sigmonkey url into an image and it appears as a click..

you can also just send a copy of the packet a few hundred times to make someone freak out...

yeah the latter one you mentioned happened to me(got freaked out)
