They should all fall under marketing exec :2 cents:

Again at a push that could also fall under the same title as above.

A title for all the jobs as one would be marketing director however that then alludes to the person being on the board of directors for the company so i would call them a marketing manager or executive :2 cents:

They have very different responsibilities though, so we can't give them all the same name.

Unless you mean just change the Coordinator part for the word exec ?

Hehe well for our marketing department, the only person who will need knowledge of all areas is the Marketing Manager. For everyone else we want specialists :thumbsup

You are missing my point though.

Why hire 6 people each with their own job title for those roles when almost every other company in the world only hires 1?

Lee

Well, for example, people who work in online marketing and offline marketing - it's two different worlds. One person dealing with tv networks and such isn't the same as someone else dealing with some sales reps for websites....:2 cents:

We've had marketing people in the past to cover all aspects, but they got overwhelmed with too much work. We find if we're going to hire more of them anyways, why not hire people who have lots of experience in one area instead of little experience in all areas.

Besides, we're not saying they person we hire for one position shouldn't know anything about the others....if he does its only to his benefit :thumbsup
