Who keeps attacking me?
My damn firewall has blocked the fourth attempt since 1am by the same IP addy! :feels-hot WTF!
How do I find out what's up with this?:helpme |
well, not much you can do, you could track it back to the ISP, and then make a complaint. But that doesn't guarantee anything will be done. What kind of attacks are they launching?
|
Does your firewall show a block reason? What port was it on?
What's the IP? Probably a script kiddie running a port scan. |
stop blocking me, I just wanna play...

Seems like they are scanning for open ports, ( infected machines )

Probably just random scanning.
Doubt someone is targeting you specifically. They usually pick a range of ip's and scan them for vulnerabilities. Sounds like you're protected, so I wouldn't worry! :thumbsup |

I wouldn't be alarmed about this sort of scanning. It's normal now. I route a block of IP addresses into my home server so I get a flurry of packets (usually 254 in a row) probing each IP address.
