So I went to http://www.spamhaus.org on the front page is top 10 June2004 spamers it looks like #5 is Phil Doroff aka Phil21 doesnt he own Reflected.net (the hosting company)?

They only have one SBL listing , but Phil Doroff is one of the ten worst in the world. That means Reflected.net is light in the ethics department, and not a company I would choose to do business with. I don't know if Doroff is the owner of Reflected, but I'll try and find out.

WebAir is another MAJOR SPAMHAUS and big advertiser on GFY.
They currently have 21 SBL listings including ROKSO SPAMMERS Webfinity/Dynamic Pipe who are partners with Python Video/Dollar Machine/GlobalMediaResources.

I won't reply too much in depth.

But to be straight to the point, Spamhaus is on crack. They've ignored facts for many many months now, and have refused to try to validate anything I've presented to them.

I have never tried to hide my past. I used to be involved with a company called "Five Elements". Under my control, this company signed a contract with a client who had a serious spam problem. This was a mistake, and I regret it. However, half of the allegations on Spamhaus are 100% false. If I was ever even remotely involved in half of the things they said I was, I would be much better off financially to say the least. Folks that know me personally know my views on spam, and what I will and will not tolerate as far as ethics go. I've been rather upset over some of the claims on spamhaus for a while. Also you may note providing connectivity to a spammer is not the same as actually being the one sending the spam. I have never once sent a single spam e-mail in my life. However, as previously stated I have aided and abeted.

So, before anyone thinks that they can "blackmail" me by holding a SBL/ROKSO entry over my head.

#1. I have hosted spammers in the past w/ a previous company. This is no secret, and I have NEVER *ONCE* tried to hide this fact. I was up front and open with anyone who asked.

#2. I left Five Elements entirely over a year ago, with the sole attachment being a personal server that was co-located there until maybe 7 or 8 months ago.

#3. My involvement with Reflected was due to being pushed too far past my ethics limit w/ the other company due to contracts I was under. The only choice was to lose considerable personal investment and leave the company wholesale.

#4. By "walking away", I personally lost pretty much my entire life savings. Did I deserve this? You bet. However, I also never made a dime off of "spam support". It was a slippery slope I wish I never stepped foot off of. However, I cannot go back in time.

#5. Under partly my direction, Reflected has NEVER ONCE hosted any type of spammer. We have immediately acted on any and all spam complaints, and refused service to many "big names" in the industry due to researching on how much affiliate spam we'd be taking in. In fact, we rarely if ever take on "opt in" marketers just out of respect for current clients in case one goes rogue.

I would say between ourselves, and one or perhaps two other adult hosting providers we operate one of the cleanest adult networks around. Keeping spam free has been a serious impedement in the adult industry due to the nature of the business, but also worth it in the long term.

Show me a spam problem on Reflected. You simply will not. Why would a RBL list Reflected if there is not a spam problem? It's called a personal vendetta against myself, simply trying to use my past against me following me around to any company I go on to work with.

Make your own judgement calls. If you feel that I'm a dirtbag and don't deserve to live, so be it. However, I let my actions speak louder than words.

spamhaus is gay like that. They will ignore you and think that anybody who sends an email with a link in it is a spammer. But its funny how a few thousand $ will make them look the other way. Same with spamcop. In the end they just want bribes.

phil is a 100% standup guy - i was SBLed for being affable to the spam cause because of my humorous songs. they don't understand the meaning of satire and have refused to delist my personal website and bundle it in as if i had mass mailed off of my own personal domain.

No one said Phil allows spamming out of Reflected. He is the owner of Reflected and he is the #5 spammer according to Spamhaus. Actualy he is pretty smart not allowing anyone else to spam from his network why fuck with his income just think about it 1000 signups a day x $30 = $ LOTS OF CASH why jepordize it???

He is a smart spammer. Unfortunately he fucked around and got ALL Reflected IPS blacklisted and that sucks because now his clients have to pay the price for his spamming projects. Vendetta or not Reflected customers are paying for it.

Phil has never spammed before. He hosted spammers a long time ago but isn't even associated with Five-Elements. Look it up at the secretary of state. He didn't 'get' Reflected's IPs listed. Spamhaus listed them because they are hypocritical and are more concerned with personal disputes than their supposed goal of keeping the internet free of spam.

They are directly hampering the business of many, many legitimate dedicated access customers (our hosting customers are not really affected by this) PURELY because of personal malice (which is completely unjustified by the way, considering Phil doesn't control any spam at all). Reflected has never spammed and no spam originates from Reflected IPs.

What, exactly, is the point of blacklisting Reflected IPs since there is no spam coming from them?

Spamhaus sucks cock and what was the other stupid listing site? They had my partner there because some of our server IPs belonged in the past to ScottPB and they were refusing to remove us.

The point of the RBL's is to provide a fair environment for all users....

Why should Reflected suffer for something associated with ANOTHER company, YEARS ago?

Look if it is bullshit then you get lawyers involved and sue spamhaus and other for slander. If it is true don't fucking deny it - just work on fixing it. If my name was on the front page of spamhaus I would be concerned. And If I am having problems getting emails from one of the reflected customers, who btw wishes to remain anonymous, because of this that also concern me as well.

How about you reveal your true identity so you can be sued for slander?

Since you are taking up for them, please just tell me why Spamhaus would list the netblock of a legitimate ISP/hosting company who has never endorsed or participated in spam and from whose IPs no serious spam has ever even originated if not for a personal Vendetta?

SpamHaus.org has been wrong in the past and I'm sure they'll continue to make mistakes in the future. Spammers hide. That's the bottom line.

So why not sue them and tell it to a judge (really).

The Company I work for has been doing dedicated server hosting for 11 years now. We were one of the first. We had a user with a dedicated server who has been gone for over 9 years, and we still have a CIDR on our network blocked by the NANAE zealots because of him. Its amazing the lengths these losers with no lives will go to fuck with people. They post pictures of their houses, kids, phone numbers on the web.

I used to have a guy who had a rack of colocation servers in our datacenter, total Anti Spam zealot, I had to kick him out of our facility because he was posting 'spammers' personal info on a bunch of websites and encouraging others to do bodily harm to him and his family.

I dont know which people are worse, the spammers or the antispammers.
