This is a big concern. I need some 5 lbs of gel in my hair to see if it withstand my flop:)

I think there should be a MetroSexual Flop category. Maybe we can use props to help our cause, I am simply too skinny to create any real wake or splash!

We would of course need a judges ruling, on wether or not this extra 5lbs of Gel strategically placed will be an unfair advantage .....

I am on the phone with the IOC (international oversized hairpeople comittee , for those of you not in the know) now we should have a ruling as to the effex on flopping soon.... they are currently in beta

Which day and what time is the contest?

Actually... a little water on your already planted hair gel brings the sloppiness back and makes it comb-able again after it gets hard & crunchy on your head. You just have to hurry to the surface & tread water feverishly until you get to the side of the pool so you don't over-soak it or wash it out. A blow dryer @ poolside may help styling, but don't drop that fucker in the pool or you will get a whole new hairstyle altogether.

Cory, I do not think Belly Flop is about size of spash, or even wake but rather the flight in the air, and a horizontal landing. It is about the noise that is made on impact, and the Ooohhhhsssss from the crowd.

The belly flop is as much about pagentry as it is about the splash!
