A quick barbecue idea.
Truck your ass on over to Safeway and pick up some boneless chicken titties and a jar of this salsa.
Marinade the tits in the salsa over night and toss them bad boys on the grill. http://shop.safeway.com/productimage...27_200x200.jpg It's that time of year again...If you got some good barbecue suggestions....Let's see them. |

Gotta add some dave's insanity sauce to that
|
Sounds good...I always burn the fuckers though :(
|
You can do the same with a can of chipolte peppers.
My wife got me a nice grill for Father's day and I've used it every single day since. I'm addicted to it. Today we made shrimp kebabs with grilled slices of eggplant. Tomorrow it's T-Bones. |

Sounds good!!
Heres my three contributions to your BBQs... Lamb Kebabs: Marinate lamb in olive oil, lemon juice and plain yoghurt...throw some mint in the mix and skewer, grill...and eat quick. Chicken Breasts: Marinate in soy sauce and honey over night, grill and serve with hot sauce The best tri tip: Marinate in teryaki sauce, olive oil, honey, hot sauce and salsa...add some italian seasoning and chili powder... grill and enjoy... MMMMM this is why I love summer! |

We had an awesome BBQ last night in the backyard of the office. Grilled up some big steak burgers and some nice marinated steaks. Bought a couple of cases of beer and just listened to some tunes in the nice weather.
Nice way to finish off a Friday! I think this will definetely become a Friday ritual around here :thumbsup DH |

We had an employee at work do the wing challenge...8 wings cooked in Daves insanity sauce, then after they were cooked, laced with more sauce...try eating them without any bread/milk. He almost passed out, and ended up chugging about 4 glasses of ice-water. That was the perfect end to my work week |
Stubbs is the only sauce you need :thumbsup
|
Thanks for the heads up, will pick up a bottle. :thumbsup

If you are lazy, try the safeway select 20 minute marinades.
My favorite: http://anythingxxx.com/ftp/newpic.jpg :) |

My favorite BBQ dish is jumbo shrimp wrapped in bacon (fastened by using a toothpick) and then brush them with Lee and Perrins BBQ sauce, or sauce of choice.....
MMMM Plus as an added bonus your hands smell like shrimp so you can always lie to your buddies and say yopu got some hot punnannie before the BBQ started :thumbsup |
For variety try using salad dressing to marinade your meat in. Greek salad dressing is good as well as italian. You can just throw the meat and salad dressing in a ziplock, keep it in the fridge all day and the BBQ the meat and baste it with more dressing as it cooks.

one of my favorites on the grill, is beer brats
its pretty easy and very tasty grill the brats slowly till they are brown, turn often to cook all the way thru. I said brown, not burned black take an aluminum roaster pan, pour in 3 cans of budweiser, some crushed garlic, a chopped onion, and the brats rake the coals into a pile, put the pan over the coals, put the lid on the grill and let in simmer for 30 minutes take the brats out of the pan. Place on a whole wheat bun with some A1 steak sauce, and some grilled onions and green peppers.... very, very fuckin tasty |

lol.....I had that melted siding replaced. The grill is far enough away, as long as I don't try to use large peices of wood to smoke again. :Graucho |

I like to marrinate my meats in BBQ Spice marinade,.. it's some weird mixture in a bottle I found at SuperStore. Let that fucker sit for like 6 hours, then chuck it on the barbie. Each time I turn the meat over, I pour some marinade on it. I do this until the whole litre of marinade is cooked away. The meat falls to pieces in your mouth if you cook it slow enough and it's very well spiced. not too much, not too little, and best of all. the meat NEVER gets a single black char on it :)

Quick salmon bbq tips:
get a salmon filet... I like to quickly rinse mine and soak it flesh side down in a bowl filled with sake. 3 good marinades are thick teriyaki, peri peri sauce (little spicey but nice and tasty) and thai sweet chili sauce. I also like to bbq asparagus with olive oil and salt n pepper.. corn on the cob still in the husk is good too for those days you are too lazy to boil them.. |
So far we've had one BBQ here this year, the weather sucks. Bit here's a tip.
Get a whole chicken, stuff the inside with quartered lemons or oranges, or both, a little honey and some FRESH basil or thyme. You can coat the skin with some honey and olive oil, but be careful it does not burn. Then spit roast slowly for an hour. You will need someone to turn it or one of the electric ones. Trust me it's delicious. Try putting the flavour inside the meat so it comes out in cooking, better results than putting the flavour outside hoping it goes inside. |
When marinating always and I mean always use beer or a wine of some sort,(depends on what fish, chix, or beef) the alcohol will actually tenderize the meat. Just my :2 cents: Oh yeah and my wife had me watching one of those home something channels and they said make sure to keep the lid closed for even heat. !
