I busted Bush!

"The coalition against Saddam has fallen apart or it's unraveling, let's put it that way. The sanctions are being violated. We don't know whether he's developing weapons of mass destruction. He'd better not be or there's going to be a consequence, should I be the president. "

Didn't you support him before?

I thought Colin = the king = 12 clicks ( at least when it comes to political views )

I am not a conservative...I am not a member of the Republican Party now and have never been. I am not a fan of President Bush. I did not vote for him and I will not be voting for him.

Sorry bud, but I don't think you can compare those people.

12clicks is your typical redneck Fox news republican, doesn't really understand politics or have any arguments but likes to make fun of liberals and repeat the garbage he heard on Rush.

My opinion of Colin is that he's a right leaning independent who, while I often disagree with him, can make a good point based on a little more than just right wing rhetoric like 12dicks.

Pathfinder, well he's just a lunatic Bush apologist who's always messed up on booze and painkillers. Shell shocked from falling off a jeep while training for the reserves or some shit. I put him on ignore a while ago. Anyone who fakes their own death on a message board needs years of therapy at the university level. :2 cents:

PF is dead for close to 2 years now...but if you insist on calling me PF I will take it as a compliment as he was a great man...a mans man...mentor and substitute father. Lunatic? I am not the one that hears voices...Richy boy...telling me that I am brilliant...have three degrees and own three of the largest casinos on the net...it is you.

No, that's the best way to describe a person who looks for any way they can disagree with facts to defend someone. I've never heard anyone besides myself use it, I don't think it's that particularly clever but it describes you sheep to a tee.

The war was never about 9/11.
The war was never about WMD.
The war was never about liberating the people.
It doesn't matter that Bush in connected to the Bin Laden family.
It doesn't matter that Bush ignored warning that Bin Laden was about to attack the US.
It doesn't matter that Bush sat in a classroom dazed for 7 minutes while his country was under attack.
The bad economy is Clinton's fault.
The lost jobs are Clinton's fault.
9/11 was Clinton's fault.
Clinton would have invaded Iraq on fabricated evidence too.

How else should I describe you? You're nothing more than Bush apologists, if the name bothers you so much then you're going to have to pull your head from your ass and start thinking for yourself.

Rich 06-26-2004 02:23 PM

Or wait, your new rhetoric is that you invaded Iraq because they were in violation of a UN resolution, right? That's this weeks excuse from the apologists?

In that case, you may want to stop arming the country violating more UN resolutions than any other country on the planet.

A vote for nader is not a wasted vote if you really want change but cant stomach any of the current politicans.

Dont vote for the lessor of many evils , vote for real change in the future.

Ok, I'm one of the most vocal people AGAINST Bush, and I firmly believe that stuff was made up left and right and this and that... however...

Even I have to admit, that in Oct 11, 2000... he wouldn't have access to information that he would later have as President. Therefore, he actually would not know if Saddam has WMD's at that point, but could know later.

I'm not saying Saddam ever did, or that Bush ever did have this imaginary "proof" that later disappeared.

BUT... this isn't a case of him being busted. He truly would have no information on the subject in 2000.

Tom_PMs 06-26-2004 02:31 PM

Hey no fair, Colin.

Not completely.
I find it amazing how you people can all of the sudden dismiss the whole WMD aspect after the Clinton administration tried to push that very same apple down our throats for 8 years.

Quote:

The war was never about liberating the people.
No, that was the convenient and sell-able outcome.

Quote:

It doesn't matter that Bush in connected to the Bin Laden family.
Considering the Bin Laden family has disowned Usama, you can't fault them. Every family has a bad seed... Roger Clinton for example, or if you will George W Bush : )

Quote:

It doesn't matter that Bush ignored warning that Bin Laden was about to attack the US.
It doesn't matter that this was in preparation while Clinton still had a couple years left in his term? What did he do again? I mean aside from passing up THREE chances to wipe the fucker out.

By the way, what did he do to stop the first WTC bombing?

Quote:

It doesn't matter that Bush sat in a classroom dazed for 7 minutes while his country was under attack.
You're right, getting up and running out the room in a panic would have been a much better idea.

Quote:

The bad economy is Clinton's fault.
No, and the good economy wasn't a result of him neither.

Quote:

The lost jobs are Clinton's fault.
I blame NAFTA.

Quote:

9/11 was Clinton's fault.
He sure didn't do anything to prevent it.
By the way, what did he do to stop the first WTC bombing?

Quote:

Clinton would have invaded Iraq on fabricated evidence too.
No, he was to busy being unfaithful to his wife while on the job, pardoning criminals, taking money he shouldn't have, pounding his fist pointing his finger and lying to the entire country, redefining words, getting expensive haircuts, lobbing missiles into empty tents, among other things.

Back to the childishness, ok......

I fucked your mother in the ass, and she had you.

Think about that.

NBDesign 06-26-2004 02:42 PM

So truth hurts... do you like the fact that your tax dollars are paying for a president who spent 42% of his 1st 8 months in office on vacation?

This man is being paid... what 400k a year from our tax dollars and he spends most of his time on vacation...

How may days do you get a year?

Nader 2004

I agree 100% with the idea, I'm glad we have a 3 party system up here and with our greens and bloc Quebecois gaining steam, soon enough it could be 5. That's great, and I'd love to see the US get out of the domination by two parties controlled by the same corporate interests.

BUT

Is this the election to do it? What you have to ask yourself is, can you stomach 4 more years of Bush? What kind of state is your country going to be in down the road? Let Kerry turn the country around like Clinton did, and then push hard for Nader in 2008 when Kerry has a cake walk against Bob Dole jr. :2 cents:

Tom_PMs 06-26-2004 02:49 PM

NBDesign, the kicker about all his vacation time is that during all the "high profile" 9/11 commision testimonies, we heard OVER and OVER and OVER again how they had ONLY been in office for 230 days (or whatever the exact number).

Gotta love the spin..

First, I think up to and including Bush, Presidents are grossly underpaid, so I don't care how much vacation he takes.

Second, as many days as I want.

Bush kept using the excuse that they couldn't do anything about 9/11 because he was online in office for 230 days. Turns out he spent something like 100 of those days on vacation.

Tom_PMs 06-26-2004 03:04 PM

Yeah thats right, Rich. I'm just looking over dr. rice 9/11 testimony now, lol. It was actually 233 days incidently.. she mentions 233 days 5 different times..

gottcha... i believe they mentioned that he had pleanty of time to react to this before it happened... I mean it's not like he got it the night before. not sure the exact date.

As for the 9/11 commission... not sure i trust them either. Bush has more power and connections than anyone realizes. Between daddy bush and jr. bush... and all their saudi friends.. they have enough $$$ to pretty much do anything they want and get away with it. :2 cents:

edit: it was also mentioned the they knew that al qadea had people in the country training and in pilot school... not sure the exact details....
