Do you think epassporte will ever get their shit together? I don't.
Fucking promoting theirselves all over the web as something special.
# 1, their support sucks. The only thing they ever say is "we'll have the techs look into it and e-mail you". I'd like to see my bank tell me they'll try to 'look into' something in 24 fucking hours Not one time since day one have they EVER mailed to say they FIXED something. Fuck, at least TEN times in the last year either my PIN is fucking erased for some unknown reason or I get "insufficient funds" when I can goddamned well see the fucking money sitting there. I'm aware of the time difference in Curacao... So, I go to the bank Tuesday morning and pull $500.00 I wait until 4:00 PM and pull $500.00 more. I go to the bank Wednesday and "insufficient funds". Fuck it, I don't have time. I go to the bank Thursday and "insufficient funds" so this time I CALL the fuckers. Oh yea, they say they can see no reason I can't get any money. it's been 48 hours since a withdrawal, and my limit says 38 fucking dollars.. What do they tell me? "Well have the techs 'look into it' and find out why it's not resetting correctly within 24 hours". I don't want 24 hours, I want right fucking now. It's my goddamned money and I want it. Still hasn't been "looked in to". Bullshit. I hate even offering them as a payment option, I never know when I go to the bank if I'll get MY godamned money or not. AST |

I still have yet to use them, right from the get-go when I first tried to sign up I had several problems, and got a lot of contradictory answers. My intuition told me not to trust them at that point in time.

I've never had problems with them.
Signed up with out problems, once had my account suspended because of a dodgy sponsor, only took one phonecall and it was fixed in a matter of minutes. No problems since then :) They sound like they are doing a good job with the SMS fuding, and let webmasters wire to their bank account. So I think they will get better. Would be good if they got a couple more real competitors, then I'm sure no one would have any problems with them, right now it is probably that they are not worried about losing customers, if they were we wouldn't hear these stories :glugglug |

Luckily the money we take via them is small, it's my "Bonus Money"
If they did get their act together they could be a power in the industry, but I doubt if they ever will. Not had many problems with them, except when signing up. But when I tried to discuss it with them last year in Miami, their attitude to my problems was not re-assuring. They think they have a wonderful system. |

Yeah we haven't had great luck with them either.
If it wasn't for some clients in Europe and such we would'nt even bother. I have thousands sitting in my account right now and have little way of getting it out unless I go to the bank every day and withdraw 200. At that rate I will have my money in a few months. LMAO!! DH |

You are not alone AST. Same prob we had this just this afternoon. last withdraw 2 days ago, we pulled out $300 and we have more $$ left on our account, then this afternoon "insuficient funds" shit, when you can see the money if you try the balance inquiry.
And another prob is, we can't pull higher than $300, if we exceed, it's the miracle words again "insuficient shit" so we do it $300 per transaction. I dunno if that was the atm's/bank rules..... Then just 15mins ago before posting on this thread, i logged in to our account, and guess what... it's $0.00 on our available balance! (top left) but on the box where you can view transactions made, it is not $0.00. ( I took a print screen of this and will mail it to them ) tried refershing the page.. logged out and logged in, then BOOM! $0.00 and all our transaction has been erased! KINDA FREAKED ME OUT!. starting to panic, LOL* but tried logging in and logging out again and again, then mins after $0.00 is now fixed and all the transaction's back. Getting pissed off really, but we have no choice. our country isn't included on paypal. :( I wonder what the hell are they tryin to do... fixing their database? scared to store money now there.... hafto withdraw it each and every time.... *sorry wrote a book here*:) |

I've had some difficulties using their cards, but it seems to be ok now. I have never been able to use the virtual card though. It's always been simple to use the plastic card to withdraw money at ATM's as well as using it in different businesses like a regular credit card.
It seems like they are adding new features all the time, so hopefully they'll sitck around. :2 cents: |

Well the only trouble Ive ever head with them was trying to sign up for an account. Seems in Oz banks have a minimun of $20 credit transactions so there verification fee never gets through.
So I just had to do it the hard way with sending in 100points of ID. For verification security. Although some of there support staff seem a lilttle dopey when trying to understand what was going on. |

epaasporte rocks. For all the complaints I heard untill now I've found the ansers myself. Most of the problems I've heard will be fixed with 1 simple FRIENDLY phonecall.
Believe me I've worked at a helpdesk for 4 years and friendly people get a lot more done then the ones that start yelling, being unpolite, being a jerk and blaming everyone but themselves. Yes Epassporte has daily limits (except for the daily withdrawel limit there is also a daily ATM transaction limit) but all of their limits can be raised with 1 phonecall or email and 1 fax. |

All I am going to say is this...
Nothing worthwhile is ever easy. I'm not excusing any errors they might have made on anybody's accounts, but I think that we could all probably agree that to start from scratch and endeavor to create such a massive solution is no small undertaking. In the grand scheme of things, if and when they get beyond what sounds like all of these growing pains then there's a great product we're all going to be able to use and enjoy. Epoch's commitment to adult is huge and wouldn't it be awesome if they were able to overcome all of the challenges and become an accepted alternative to PayPal? Seems to me that the operators have always displayed intelligence and humility and I would bet they'll read this thread, meet about it and work even harder to overcome these issues. As consumers we all have the choice to use their product or not to use it. Perhaps those of you who are dissatisfied should just give it a rest for a while... and try back later? ...I just wish them luck. I know what they're trying to do isn't easy and also that exponential growth is probably the single biggest challenge to overcome in business. If they succeed, the payoff will be huge for them and the dividends for our industry will be substantial too :) Cheers, Brad |
