Of course it would seem more profitable if it was 'illegal' but making it legal would result in less problems with the law and more money in the long run.

Sure there would be some skank whore houses and crazy girls, but a professional brothel would probably give girls commission + benefits and hire only the finest talent.

If it was legal I'd run one.

Have a crew of 6 bouncers and bodyguards to make sure its a safe environment for both the girls and the guests.
