Wearing condoms in shoots???????

Some friends and I were in Mexico the other night and met some girls that wanted to be filmed. We got release forms signed and two forms of ID so I would be in compliance with all laws. Here is the tricky part, they were messing around and we were getting some good footage when it came down to sex neither the guy or girls wanted to wear condoms and they obvisouly had not been tested for HIV. They were going to have sex with the camera rolling or not so we just decided to film. I know these people are stupid for doing this but what I want to know is if I am breaking any laws for filming a unprotected sex scence when I knew they had not been tested.

Thanks

Manowar 05-27-2004 01:42 PM

Your not breaking laws, but if their models you should tell them to go get tested

DarkJedi 05-27-2004 01:42 PM

No, you're not breaking any laws.

wtfent 05-27-2004 01:43 PM

They are not models, just your regular everyday college students.

NinjaBen 05-27-2004 01:43 PM

No no law breaking, just common sense breaking

BRISK 05-27-2004 01:43 PM

Were these girls some local mexicans or were the americans that were down in mexico?

you arent breaking any laws however expect to be hit with a huge ass law suit when they discover they have aids and they contracted the disease that time they fucked while you filmed them!

Well, what are you waiting for? Where are the pics or the video sample?
Are you selling them or?

wtfent 05-27-2004 01:45 PM

Just some white girls from San Diego State University. They were not from mexico.

BRISK 05-27-2004 01:46 PM

yup!!

Monique Niccole 05-27-2004 02:41 PM

that's nasty and stupid...although not illegal.

stev0 05-27-2004 02:45 PM

They were going to have sex anyways... ? Did you even pay these girls?

Were they drunk or just really slutty? model release or not, if they were intoxicated in any way you have to watch out, they could charge you afterwards for statutory rape.

OKay, then can you have them sign a waiver to avoid such a situation?

in short no.. that contract / waiver would then be in breach of the law itself and be abslutely useless :)

the shoot perhaps showing they fucked without use of condoms the only documented proof they would need ;)

I would then counter sue who ever sues me. I was put in a situation were I felt very uncomfortable. I was pressured by both parties that it was not a big deal to them. They were telling me to not be a pussy and just film the damm sex.

As the producer of the content you should have told them to shut the fuck up, wrap their peckers and get to fucking. Keep your pimp hand strong man...

First rule of content production; Talent doesn't tell the producer/director how things are going to go, it's the other way around.
If you, as the person/company producing /paying for the production of the content wants condoms used, they should use condoms. Period.

First off...You're a fucking idiot.

Second.....You're a fucking idiot.

Go ahead...Ask me why I think this so that I can point out all of your fuck ups in this story......:glugglug

pussyluver 05-27-2004 04:13 PM

I would of had them sign the microsoft EULA -it covers every possible situation. Why waste a chance at content, I would of shot the content. No lawyer, but they acted at their own risk it sounds like to me.

TweetyBird 05-27-2004 04:13 PM

I don't believe it is actually illegal.... it is dumb though

John...Cut the guy some slack.

He clearly has the bomb ass equipment since he needs a 9 to 4 pin firewire cable. I would help him out but I am not ELITE enough to know where to even find a 9 pin firewire cable.

pussyluver 05-27-2004 04:17 PM

Second thought, I would have hesitated if they came to me. Would have to ask myself, is this a sting or what?

Plus AaronM would of just called me a fucking idiot.

all parties are extremely irresponsible....:(

I am no lawyer but I was always told that although prostitution is legal in Mexico...porn is illegal.

so...yes you were breaking the law.

I know this male actor who was down there a few months ago...he got caught flashing his business card (naked photo of himself) and was hauled off and spent the night in jail.

jackson 05-27-2004 05:06 PM

isn't it their risk then if they chose not to and you didn't force them to not wear a condom if they did contract a STD how would that blame be put upon you? i mean i don't kno the laws behind it all or anything im just saying common sense wise, dam thats pretty hectic i'd be heated if i flashed a naked card of myself and got arrested for it
