fuck EV1Servers!
 

Ok ... I've had bad customer service incidents before but this takes the cake.

From sunday until wednesday I spoke with 6 customer support reps in chat with ev1servers to get an issue resolved. The fuckers STILL fucked it up, and in the end because of their idiocy they unplugged one of my servers when they clearly weren't supposed to. Then when I finally got this resolved with them they agreed to turn it back on .. it took them 15 minutes to unplug, but after 6 hours it still wasnt back on, so I went to talk with customer support ... they gave me a load of bullshit, even "hung up" on me (closed the chat window). Finally I got pissed, I put as the chat subject "fucking help resolve my issue or I'll get you fired" or something like that ... they took this as abuse, and not only blocked me from the whole fucking EV1 network (YES EVERY SITE IN IT, EVEN NON-EV1 SITES THAT I USE ON A REGULAR BASIS) and terminated all of my servers. Then when I tried contacting them, they gave me a total load of bullshit about it ...

wow, sounds similar to a experience i had with another well known host a while back....sorry to hear that...nice to know though

use ev1 about a year.
mostly support good.
But some time they just want fuck you!

It happened twice.
first : i only asked some question about how to adjust server.
they stopped my server 3 hours.
Sever back online after i call them(them don't know why stop my server)

second: i ask why server a little slow. they stop my server for ...
I called them. they just said the server can't reboot because i was mad.
8 hours!

some person very very bad in ev1 company!

yep, this isnt the first time I've had problems with ev1 customer service .... its the 3rd ... the other thing I dont like is if u submit any trouble ticket other than a reboot it takes forever (I've had simple trouble tickets take 3+ days to get resolved before).

sometimes i think these are their excuses because they find out your hosting adult sites and want to shutdown the sites...i had a similar experience at aplus.net.

get a dedicated with reflected.net costs 399 for 10 megs. cant beat that shit

nope ... the problem happened on one server (that was adult, on one account) ... but they terminated my other account, which is strictly non-adult (I like to keep adult/non-adult sites separate)

not many place have lower price than ev1 1 year ago.
now lower price best support everywhere!
some time think move the server.
i think servermatrix ok.

hah their support sucks, i remember when i had a box with them about a year 2 years ago. i always asked is anyone around or are you playing quake. they are idiots.

I've had brutal support from them too. The only way they seem to actually read what you type in a trouble ticket is if you type in ALL CAPS. I submitted the same trouble ticket 6 times before they actually read it & did more than reboot the server. Argh!
