Nice One Word Domain Name
Deleted.com
Brokering this for one of our new advertisers who owns this domain. I'm thinking it could be used for a deleted domain service, or maybe software for a hard drive app. Submit Offers to [email protected] Brokers Protected. I think this would go easy in the five fig range. I also reserve the right to buy this one myself. But I'd like to see what the market value is for it also before deciding. |
hmm

yes, it does sound like two words, but it's one word |
KRL,
It's probably worth 10k or a bit more to the right buyer. |

There are over 45 poker message boards online and growing and none accept buttons in their sig. They are behind the adult industry on what makes money. Like having sigs. |
5 figs is a huge ball park area
can you slim it down some what? i like it, i might find some use for it, but i dont want to seem like an asshole and offer somethin you would consider stupid. |
what do you think extender.com would be worth?
maybe for a penis enlargement site. |
Sweet domain, not many one word ones left that are that good. I have only managed to grab a few of them, would estimate 25k minimum in my humble estimation, especially since deleted.com could cover a multitude of sites.

He has some other domains also. He's advertising some scents and perfumes stuff he sells on our site. |

Extender.com is not too shabby
Could be used for a few different things. |

I will, and it's a million dollar idea. I asking KRL first. poker ad sell easy and the poker companies pay big bucks to be noticed. More than adult now |

Hmmm, interesting. But would the forums allow sigs? |
Np at all KRL :)
Domains are getting back there value again. We have about 350 or so, alot from the old days and are getting more emails about selling, deals, etc. Just got an ok offer for cookieshop.com, 25k, but I think it's worth more, and I always wanted to open a cookie store up someday :) |

Yep KRL, candy.com is a sweet ass domain.
He will get a few mill from it sometime :) |
Webasic,
Yeh, I tend to hold onto alot of domains, especially from 1995 and on. 25k nowadays isn't alot you know :) With domains, the buyer who wants once you have will pay. |

they would if they saw their views triple fold iin a week there are bigger personalities on poker boards then the adult industry boards. they have their own boneprone, "grannymae" on 2+2 poker forum board |
Well it shouldn't be too hard to make your own poker board? Allow sigs and do all the ads.

hey fuckface, who are you? |
Looks like $10K is the value point on this one.
If anyone has the time to do someting with this domain and wants to take it let me know otherwise I'm going to cut a deal with him on it. |
hehe
I bet KRL knows the value of the domain deleted.com , which would be around $1,000-2,000 A domain player brokering a domain just means the domain is overpriced. a) targeted traffic - do any of you domain buyers type in deleted.com ? b) non-targeted - maybe 30 a day, probably some foreigner learning dictionary words :) c) branding single word is the only reason it gives it any kind of the small value ith as. thats my 2 cents :) |

Wow, you're right, your advice is worth 2 cents and not a penny more. The guy that owns it called us to buy an ad on Men.com today and mentioned if we would be interested in buying his domain. I have no idea what its worth because its not the kind I would normally go after since it needs a professional domain registry service on there to make it worthwhile. My first instinct was in the $10K to $15K range and by the posts here that would be about right. I value Todd's opinion above because he deals with domains extensively also. Some real criticizing twits on this board recently that have a handful of posts and act like they are credible. State who you are and why we should value your opinion for more than 2 cents Mr. Expert and then we'll decide if its even worth our time to bother reading your garbage. |
Damn that one's been floating around for a while.
|
In my humble opionion, 10-15k is a good buy for that domain. If I had the time to develop it, I would buy it in an instant for that price.
On a side note, I buy loads of pharmaceutical related domains, and medsrx.com recently sold for $6500 on pool. Deleted.com is a far better property than medsrx.com, even at twice the price. |
IMHO 5 Figures seems alot,
but then again it all depends on who the person is and what ideas they have for such a domain. Maybe you should contact the guys at deleteddomains.com |

It's only worth what the HIGHEST person is willing to pay for it, not the average or lowest. Personally, little value to that domain name for me, but the .net/org/biz/info/us are all reg'd, so it has some value to others.
If you think of things in relative terms.....find a $10K domain you own, and see if you'd prefer that one, or deleted.com.... $10K can buy 1/2 a bad 2 letter.com these days, or some decent 3-letter .coms, so that's the marketplace. http://www.dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm has some recent sales that were public. God knows worse names have sold for more. :) |
I have banished.com
and Im taking offers! |
Soundcard.com sold for $8,500
now that was a great purchase |
Deleted.com would be awesome for a deleted domains service. Provide a free searchable database, like deleteddomains.com and a paid monitoring/autorenewal service. Awesome branding potential. Easily 5 figures, in my opinion.

I control around 15,000 domains, you aren't the only one on the internet.
just because I'm raining your parade and pointing out facts don't mean you got to hate me :D Soon you'll be calling me names like you be in 5th grade :D FACTS: how many typeins does it get? I'm sure deleted.com doesn't get more then 50 typeins a day. in reality , that domain is worth around $1000 /3 years revenue max. in your imaginary world , its worth a few 10-20k :) |

Then I should get to know you if you have 15,000 domains. E-Mail Me: [email protected] |
I also do remember a quote by someone who said
"Not all traffic is quality or worth money learned that last year" I Wonder who said that heheh. Good quote for sure. What I see here are big players stiring up things so the craze catches on, inexperienced, uneducated investors jump in and buy on the top. Players with good estates start killing the sheeep. From the look of this thread, Lots of sheep :) Good business! swami, I am a poor boy, I can only afford free yahoo email address :( maybe you can donate a pop3 account to me :D |
