Maybe its not. But the 15K of domains rang a bell. |
I'm just a loser chatting on a message board while clipping my toenails, no need to look out for me

Got to get me some of these I think. |
Kevin,
No, it's not who you think it is and deleted.com for 10k-15k.. way off imo anyways ,more like 500$-1k. 1. No type in traffic. If it gets 10 I'l lbuy you a drink. 2. It's pretty hard to jump into the deleted domain business without an outstanding service. When you have that service the word flies around and the name is really not that important as the service is usually on a very personal level. Cheers Sal. |

this name has been on the market for quiet a while now and hasnt found a buyer yet
KRL, i to can offer you about $1000 for it, but thats all its worth in my eyes. traffic guestimate 5 if lucky |

I don't own it Slav, a guy who called us the other to advertise on our site had read we deal in domains I guess and wanted to know if we could broker it for him. I agree with what Sal said about the specialty type of site you need. I was just trying to get a good handle on what it was worth so I could either broker it properly or buy it. Too many diverse opinions on here which is usually not a good sign. |
Here's another :) Do a search at Overture inventory and deleted gets about 2K searchs a month. But most of the releated searches are for deleted files or email.
You might start talking to the data recovery people, I'll be they'll pay 10k+ for it. |
eheh Todd has some great domains
Candy.com hummm so much money to be made on that domain |

The domain is perfect for a "data recovery" or "information disposal". Simple, easy to remember, brandable, and not very many common typos. To much emphasis is placed on "type-in traffic". " Type-in traffic is directly proportional to a website popularity. In otherwords, I could promote "abc123.com" (mags, newpapers, radio etc) offline and create the "type-in" traffic. The domain "deleted.com" IMO is worth 1750-2500 at fire sale prices. |
Its become very hard to really know what a domain is worth in looking at the results from this thread.
The range is $500 to $25,000. LOL I know a lot of people laugh at me for my other big purchase and I can see why they would from just looking at the surface, but they don't know all the other things that arose from that acquisition and are still arising from it as secondary benefits. So in summary it goes back to the old adgage. Its worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. Thanks for your input on this one. |
