Do you give refunds if someone asks or do you tell them to fuck off? I hate to risk the chargeback but I also hate to reward some asshole that has just downloaded the entire site and now wants his money back. My site is loaded with content, no way did he get ripped off or anything so that isn't the issue.

Yeah I guess but there must be a better way. Maybe I'll tell the guy I'll cancel him and then give him a few weeks free or something to make it up to him.

I hate those asshoes, but you have to give them a refund. They are getting their money back anyway and it's better to do it yourself rather than get a refund.

If you want to be mad at someone - be mad at Visa/Mc/Discover/AmEx who do not protect online business owners at all and assume that you are "guilty until proven innocent".

chalk it up to overhead.. that's what the cc companies do

without a signature, theres not much you can do, except refund.

Email him a copy of your logs.
Show him the IP's of the signup, accesses, and his refund request email. (Note: this only works if they match, lol.)
Show him this.

most others dont ask they just do a CB..

as others said all you can do is refund to keep your cb ratio's down as you get hit with fees on those..

Oh, he's not disputing it; he just says he doesn't like the site. I deliver about 10 times more stuff than I advertise and it is all niche specific so there really isn't much to complain about. He's just being a cheap fucker and I don't really want to give him something for nothing. I guess I'll end up having to do it to avoid the chargeback.

Someone mentioned trials and yes, this was from a cheap trial popped off an exit console.
