I also noticed ACER, with 17 inch TFT(for same price as this one) but I heard many many horror stories about Acer... Andre |
Seems a bit pricey for those specs actually..
|
overpriced :2 cents:

If you say "overpriced" post links to better deals.

I'm not going to do your laptop research for you.. I am somewhat familiar with notebook prices, having just bought a new one myself.. and for 1,681.79 USD I'm not blown away by that deal. :winkwink: :thumbsup

You guys forget I live in The Netherlands :)
For example at dell.nl I can order Inspiron 9100 IntelŪ PentiumŪ 4 Processor 2.80GHz met HyperThreading Support 512MB RAM 60GB HDD 15.4 inch TFT for the price of 1962.31 EUR So I think the maxdata is priced pretty nice Andre |

it doesn't have wide screen (it rocks, trust me) and the video card has shared memory which sucks... other than this it's ok
I have a toshiba m35-s320, bought it a month ago, it rocks. |

That one sounds a little better I think.. from what I could gather, not speaking the language.
Widescreen is nice to have.. I have it on mine. that extra inch or so of space is handy on the smaller sized laptop screen. |

Here for more English description http://nl.computers.toshiba-europe.c...9&DISC_MODEL=0 But I agree 50 euro for 0.4 inch is not much Andre |
