The BEST fucking NEWS a Canadian can GET!!! (CC Processor Related)

GUESS WHAT?????????????

I have found processing IN Canada BY a Canadian company

NO VISA REG!

WHO?

Moneris is now accepting ADULT transactions and i have called and confirmed this with them! I have an application going in today to get my own merchant account!

.25/transaction
3.9% in processing fees
400 Setup charge (NOT A VISA REGISTRATION FEE)

And you're good to go and get your processing up!

Call them up and get shit going!!

I suggest you ask for Sabrina as she was very helpful for me!

1-800-MON-ERIS

AFAIK they only work with Canadian Companies!

3.9% in processing fees for porn sites? Seems too good to be true. Why do they only work with CAN caompanies?

Because VISA request that you process in the same region of your business.

Why do you think you need a US company to use CCBill USA, Jettis and Epoch? For the exact same reason.

I agree that 3.9% is a bit low for High-Risk.

EviLGuY 05-08-2004 05:16 AM

This is too good to be true.. imho. :2 cents:

LOL...........watch this fall flat very soon.......wasn't it moneris being sued by Directv as they processed for sites selling loaders, programmers, HU cards etc? they got out of that fast, and they'll get out of adult fast too, thats even if this is accurate and they are in adult in the 1st place.

No, that was paysystems.

I used Moneris for a while for a storefront ( fees was 1.4% ). so rhose fees are higher for adult. They also ask for a personnal garantee.

BTW. they are a major player, having cornered most of the terminal business....

Hope it does work for US.

:thumbsup

Moneris Solutions is a joint investment between RBC Royal Bank and BMO Bank of Montreal (including Harris Bank) that was launched in December 2000.

That's about as solid a backing as you could hope for.

speaking with doesn't know if its true. He's going to ask
his manager now...so i'm on hold
...waiting
...waiting

...wholly fuck..its true.

So, does this mean ccbill will be establishing a shop
in canada to be able to offer processing directly
to canadian webmasters?

Corvette, if your around, any word on this?

CCBill Canada would be fucking amazing!!

stev0 05-10-2004 02:06 PM

sweet deal... added it to mine too.

gigi 05-10-2004 02:25 PM

True, True, True....

Just got off the phone with Richard, a sales rep. (unfortunately, Nicole is no longer with the company)

He has verified the information is true, for the most part.

Processing fees: between 3.9 - 4.5 depending on processing need specifics (I'm guessing this is by volume)

$400 set up fee is an average...could be a bit more, or less depending again, on your needs.

Excellent news guys. Now us Canadian players can actually play! LOL

bizmak 05-10-2004 03:08 PM

that sounds good for you :thumbsup

acratophorum 05-10-2004 03:09 PM

Apperantly you have to put down a personal guarentee. That seems kind of sketchy to me...

vas 05-10-2004 04:00 PM

this is sweet news :D

NETbilling 05-10-2004 04:11 PM

Hi,

We have a few merchants through Moneris. However, they only processing Norht American credit cards as we have seen. This is a bit limiting. However, if you are interested, please contact me directly and I may be able to get you a slightly better rate. Also, you will need a gateway, fraud scrubbing and possible call center services whcih we can provide as well. I am in Florida this week so shott me an email to [email protected] and I or one of our sales managers will call you tomorrow. You can also ICQ: 117496436

Thank you, Mitch Farber

I used them as a store front, and I could process cards from all parts of the world....

Are you sure about that limitation???

I really have to call you soon ... by the end of the month.

NETbilling 05-10-2004 04:23 PM

Hi,

Their moto rules are different from their retail rules. Please do give me a call soon.

Mitch

What do you mean by "North American Credit Cards Only"? A customer from Europe, using his Visa or Mastercard would not be able to join the site?

Since you already work, I guess that integration of Moneris Canada would be easily done with Netbilling?

nudecanada 05-10-2004 04:50 PM

This is all very interesting. I called Moneris today, and sure enough, the lady I talked to insisted they will do adult paysite processing.

She said we had to put down $400 refundable deposit, and upon review they may ask for a security deposit as well. (or something like that)

We already have a mainstream merch. account through them, and they are actually a good company. Never have had a problem with them.

We will be applying for the adult merch. account this week, and I will post back what happens.

I am VERY curious if it is true they only accept north american credit cards for high risk online transactions. If so, we won't bother. Perhaps they don't realize the internet is global? :) If someone can 100% verify this, please post it before we waste our time getting the merch. account.
