Should our land lord be allowed to hassel us about our grass?

We're 20 and 21 broke as hell weak girls. We live in a TRAILOR in THE MIDDLE OF THE WOODS.

And our land lord keeps calling to tell us to cut our grass.

There is no grass. Only sticks and rocks and animals and trees and wild flowers.

Can't she just cut it herself?

pornJester 04-27-2004 07:47 PM

They have internet access in trailers in the middle of the woods?

MrJackMeHoff 04-27-2004 07:48 PM

cut yo grass ya lazy eyed trailer trash psycho!

jojojo 04-27-2004 07:49 PM

if you are renting then I think you are responsible for maintaining the grass/yard

ADL_Christy 04-27-2004 07:49 PM

You should cut it! Its not that hard....take a little pride in where you live!

Amputate Your Head 04-27-2004 07:49 PM

Definition of Landlord: One who is the owner of the property.

yes, not only is he allowed to hassle you about it, but he has every right to DEMAND it of you. Don't like the responsibility that goes with renting the place? Move.

GirlNinja 04-27-2004 07:53 PM

Yeah I know she's "allowed" and that I'm totally responsible for maintaining my yard, but I don't have yard.

I live in the woods.. How do you mow the woods?

doober 04-27-2004 07:54 PM

baby just trim the muffin please

sounds like you need to weed eat

laura99 04-27-2004 07:57 PM

Maybe you need to break out the weedeater and trim the weeds.

sandman! 04-27-2004 07:57 PM

LOL

WebTitan 04-27-2004 07:57 PM

i doubt seriously you have woods right up to the hahahahahahas of your house with wheels.

tell him that you can not cut it for whatever reason and agree to pay and extra $75 a month for him to maintain it, if you do not want to. i am sure he will leave you alone then and take your extra $$

Weed eat the woods?

Technically I don't even know where our "yard" begins or ends. And the woods weren't cut when we moved in a year ago, either.

Amputate Your Head 04-27-2004 07:58 PM

i don't understand people that have problems like this.....

hire a freaking landscaper to come once a week like I do and you never have to worry about it ever again. :2 cents:

Fletch XXX 04-27-2004 07:59 PM

what are you talking about?

In parts of California the city can fine and ticket you for not taking care of your lawn.

chew on that one.

imagine the city ticketing you for not cutting your grass.

:thumbsup

A broke 20 year old college in a trailor in the woods with a weekly landscaper.

Something doesn't seem quite right about that.

You down around Thibodaux, or more up north?

Where I was from if you didn't fix your grass or whatnot when the city asked, they would come in and do it themselves, then send you the bill.

Amputate Your Head 04-27-2004 08:02 PM

excuses excuses..... a weekly landscaper only runs on average $300 a month. Just do it and stop whining.

GirlNinja 04-27-2004 08:02 PM

Don't have a cam. :(

m00d 04-27-2004 08:03 PM

weedeat the tallest weeds one time..
then in true trailer park fashion, pour gasoline mixed with a little oil onto all of them..they won't come back for a long time.

just don't smoke a cigarette while doing it

fuzebox 04-27-2004 08:03 PM

A year ago I was renting a house with a lawn, every week the landlord came and cut the grass himself. :2 cents:

420 04-27-2004 08:03 PM

just burn the woods around your trailor

problem solved

That's more than my rent.

I don't have to mow mine. They do it for me. They mow, rake leaves, plow the driveway, and shovel the sidewalk :) I thought that was the landlords job when you rent. I must have just got lucky.

Anyway you two girls need someone to mow your lawn I can come over once a week :Graucho

I'm from Morgan City, that's right by Thibodaux, but I go to school in Natchitochoes at NSU and that's way up north in the shitty part of the state.

DreamCumTrue 04-27-2004 08:06 PM

I dont know, I havent ever had a landlord.

And that's probably why you have a weekly landscaper and I don't. :)

pimplink 04-27-2004 08:07 PM

Even though renting, it's your place now and you should keep it neat and clean unless, of course, that's not in your vocabulary?

If I was that property owner, you would be evicted and on the street.

haha no seriously, it's IN the woods. Not near the woods or in front of the woods. When it's windy it's hard to sleep because branches hit everthing.

So what you're actually saying is that your landlord has a chemical imbalance and is unnecessarily harassing you to cut some grass that does not really exist?

Maybe he meant for you to rake up the leaves or something?

:helpme

xxxdesign-net 04-27-2004 09:11 PM

just ask your landlord her weedeater.... :2 cents:
