Been down/dead/slow for a while now.

This looks like a DDOS maybe.
Please tell me it's not so.

Hi,

They host at Exodus and other places in Chicago. Only the Netbilling.com info site is at Candid. I just called and was told there is a network router issue at Exodus and they are working to redirect traffic while it is being fixed. Should be about 30 more minutes ETA. Netbilling.com comes up fine for me here though.

Kind of strage both were out though?

If they are at different datacenters, why are both having problems?

My apologies, it appears that the secure system is hosted on Cable & Wiresless (Exodus).

I called Netbillng and this is what they told me:


We had a power outage, our systems went down and our techs are working to fix it.

It should be up in 30 min.

Hi,

Actually our call center and sales offices did have a power outage this morning along with 250 other buildings in the area. This does not have anything to do with the downtime though. We were hit with a similar DDOS attack as Ibill. Our network enginerrs are working hard to divert traffic and block IPS to subside the attack. I will make a new post as I get more information and resolution.

If netbilling is hosted by Candid, i'm going to re-think using them.. they are the WORST hosting company I've ever used. my god, just thinking about my past experiences with those bastards makes me quiver.. arg!

We have a server at Candid that only handles the netbilling.com site. This has nothing to do with our transaction and data center in Chicago.
