Who asked the US for help in Iraq? Who asked the US to ivade them? oh right, no one. Doing one thing on your own isn't the same as helping someone at their request.

Nope, its not. Americans scream at the top of their lungs that they want to be told the truth and they want politicians who won't bullshit them.

But they dont. They want someone who will tell them that everything is fine, their social security is intact, we are winning the war, the children is learning, jobs are being created and the economy is getting better. Its simply too goddamn depressing for most people to be told what the status of our nation really is. They can't handle it.

The rare politician who dares to tell people what the real story is - will usually be labeled an extremist and accused of being un-American, a trouble maker, etc.

The US has an Electoral College that elects the President. That is our system. The Electoral College elected President Bush. Every independent recount that was made by multiple organizations that did a recount in the disputed Counties in Florida showed that President Bush won the vote. There were indepenent organiztions that did a recount of the entire state and they learned that the President won by a larger number of votes than was officially granted to him.

No President is 100% good or 100% bad.

No President has ever averaged much better than pleasing half the people while pissing off the other half.

There is such a thing as showing respect for the office and the man in it at the time. No matter which party he is with, but especially during a conflict when our troops are involved.

This does not make you a "good American, nor does it make you a sheep, it just shows you have some respect for your country, your heritage, and have at least some sense of the reality that the people that disagree with you on one topic might agree with you on another. Neither party is 100% right or wrong, and neither are you.

Calling any President a moron, comparing him to hitler, and some of the really low life bashing I have seen here isn't anti-American, it's just foolish, childish, uninformed and is stupid.

I don't necessarly think you are Anti-American. I just think you are stupid. You haven't thourghly investigated the situation and deemed Iraq as a threat. Maybe that is Anti-American I don't know its more of a judgement call. Your whole argument is based on biases and miss-information or incomplete information. American's arent being "sent to die for their assclown president" They are being sent to protect American Interest and fight a war on terrorism. And no saying the battle in Iraq is fighting terrorism doesn't mean it is connected to 911. Which, I am not ruling out just saying there isnt enough evidence to support an argument either way. It has only been a year and your so quick to say there are no WMD's what happens when/if inspectors find some? Are you going to eat your propaganda?
