I just clicked the console-free tour of ars4real
 

Since people kept mailing me about the blacklisting of ars4real on The Hun's I tested one link, http://www.ars4real.com/re.php?s=CGB...b=&cen=&c=free

It is supposed to be console free (c=free), I got redirected to http://www.premiumratedcontent.com/a...%3A3578377156, which made itself full screen (very annoying on a 1920*1200 screen, I am very capable of clicking the maximize button myself if I want to view sites in full screen) and got a download popup for http://www.thepaymentcentre.com/build/preload2.cab, distributed by Holistyc Limited. No information is provided on what the download is. I bet it's a dialer. But it doesn't say it is anywhere...

Anyway, I click 'no'. I get a popup saying "You must click <YES> to access the site."... What utter BS. I clicked 'NO', I don't want it... Anyway, I click "ok" and get the same dialer download popup again. Again I click 'no'.

Surprise, surprise! "You must click <YES> to access the site" on my screen again. What part of "no" doesn't this piece of scripting understand??

I get the dialer popup again and again I click no and again do I get the message "You must click <YES> to access"... All this time I can't navigate the site or click 'back'... the popups force me to stick with clicking "NO" 4 times in a row now...

Finally I get a different message after clicking 'NO': "You did not click <YES> (Oh, so the script DOES know there are other options). In order to access the site, you must install this software. Do you want to install the software now?". Duh! Off course not... So I click "Cancel". THE FUCKING THING THEN STARTS DOWNLOADING VIEWER.EXE... HELLOOOHOOO!!!! I CLICKED "Cancel"!!!

Anyway, I do not want to download viewer.exe from www.thepaymentcentre.com, so I click cancel. I finally have control of the browser so I can look at it's content. ALL content on there links to the program download, which by now is no surprise anymore, but the thumbs make it look like they're linked to content, not to dialers... Anyway, since I have control back over my dialer I click 'back'...

By now I'm getting annoyed, a popup comes up. http://www.wsluts.com/exit.html. So, another console on a console-free tour... That site pops up a download message. Do I want to install http://www.thepaymentcentre.com/build.preload2.cab disctributed by Holistyc Limited... You guessed it by now, I have to click "No" 4 times in order to make this go away. Again this version tries to download VIEWER.EXE at the time I clicked "Cancel" for the 4th time. This program definately does not know the meaning of the word 'cancel'. The page that I now have control over has the same blind thumbs to the dialer. Anyway, I know how to close hahahahahahas, so I do so

Now I'm being surprised again with a console... This time it asks me if I want to download and install "Hot Adult Download! Click YES below" (these fuckers picked a name to hide they're installing a piece of software) distributed by "live video". I click "no". This software DOES take "no" for an anwer. The dialog closes and stays closed...

I close the full-screen console I'm looking at and get yet another console: http://www.formatureaudiencesonly.co...ge=10&feed=I&. This one doesn't try to install anything, but still I an surprised about a console on a link from ARS4REAL that specifically states "c=free"... Anyway, I close the hahahahahaha.

Another console... http://live.sex-explorer.com/?login=118249. This asks me: Do you want to install "This software ? Acceptance of this certifcate means that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions reachable through that link. " and hahahahahahaha? Distributed by "Electronic-group"... that's NoCreditcard, right?

Clicking "no" isn't enough... I got the download prompt a couple of times... Closing the hahahahahaha in between download popups seems to be the solution...

I lost count, but another console pops up: http://access.rapid-pass.net/?pack=n...bil ling_id=. By now I really had enough... Or should this all make me grab my creditcard... ??

And then I was susprised... I didn't get a console... I though I wouldn't get one at all, but I was thrown through so many loops. I had to click "No" to a dialer download at least 18 times. This stuff will get dialers banned. In Spain they already are illegal. No susprise looking at what I just went through...

It does mean that ARS4real is still blacklisted. I can in no way see the above story as good for the business we're all working in. People don't mind paying for something, but if they're annoyed out of their money in the end we'll all loose...

We have had the same thing with ARS in the past. I don't have a problem with ARS. I am NOT trying ARS what they should or shouldn't do. I'm merely letting people know here why I made the decision for MY site why I don't link to galleries with this program on there. I have the upmost respect for ARS I just don't agree with how they push this, but luckily in this world we're allowed to disagree with eachother ;-)

They've always had some of the shittiest of tactics to make money on their stuff. I'm sure that's in large part why they got so big. Fucking surfers is big money for the people who do it and they care little how it fucks the industry or the rest of us at the same time.

Is it possible you're going through the dialer spam trap because the ARS4REAL affiliate account has 'filter traffic' clicked and you're accessing the link from outside the US or Canada? Cos in that circumstance I think it sends all non-US/Canada clicked traffic to their dialer...

I guess this doesn't help from the POV of your site anyway, because you can't tell from the link code whether the webmaster has flagged this option, and I can't remember if it's enabled by default or not..

It's your site, and apparantly you're running it the right way because it is the best and most well known TGP there is.

I never understood the sense of georedirecting non US-traffic to dialers.
My european traffic is nearly as valuable as my us traffic, even if I only offer them a CC payment. And I'm sure that I make more money out of them if I offer them the same as US-surfers instead of trying to shove a dialer up their ass.

It's not the dialers itself I have a problem with... I don't have problems with dialers. I do get annoyed when they try to install 'emselves in any other way than clicking 'download the dialer here' or something like that... And "no" means "no". Simple...

So who is controlling that stuff? Since Marc sold out and was only handling the billing etc, are they doing it, or the guys that bought them out?!

It's up to the account holder to choice if he wont to redirect the non us traffic.

My paysite gets alot of signups (creditcard signups) from European countries, I have no idea why some programs decide to send it all to some crappy dialer.

Companies need to understand that all European traffic does not suck. Sending UK traffic to a dialer is wasting good money. UK, I know converts on CC. Do any others? I am talking converting on % comparable to the US not 1:15000
