Novelty Contact Lenses - Any Experiences?

A friend of mine is having a Heaven & Hell theme party soon and I wanted to get some of those crazy contact lenses.

I see that they do come in my prescription.

Anyone have any experiences, good or bad, with novelty lenses?

I just ordered the Fire Eyes.

I guess no one here had any input for me. :321GFY

Never wore contact lenses, no need for them and the novelty ones i would not wear.

The idea of them being actually against your eye kind of creeps me out

I can understand that..........since I already wear contact lenses every day I'll have no problem wearing these.

I eventually want to get the Lasik surgery.

I have brown eyes so when I wanted colored lenses I had to go withthe opaque ones ( to cover up brown ) . I couldn't get used to them. I had specles of green in my vision. I have worn contacts for 12 years, but found I could not tolerate opaque lenses. The novelty lenses are opaque so expect to have impaired vision..

My eye doc told me to expect that same thing with any opaque lens.

I've worn 2 pairs of weird lens . An optometrist told me they are dangerous for your eyes if you keep them for too long . I couldn't stand more then 2-3 hours straight with them.
