What famous people have you met
I've met a few pretty famous people, a dozen or so NHL players, Nazareth, Peter Frampton, Dennis Franz (NYPD Blue), Gallagher (the comedian that smashes stuff), talked to Country Joe McDonald on the phone, corresponded with Warren Buffett through mail a few times. That's all I can think of right now, I am pretty sure there's a few more. Your turn.

I've never thought it was a big deal to meet anyone, they should realize it's a big deal to meet me. But yeah I've known quite a few people in the grand scheme of things, I just never really cared, maybe that's why they let me hang around more.

I met George Clooney after that old dude from SpinCity tapped him on the shoulder to check out my girlfriend and I gave them the death-stare. He's a really cool, down-to-earth guy...and MUCH smaller than he appears on TV.
|
I met some pretty famous techno DJ's.. Derrick May, Jeff Mills, Terry Francis, Chris Liebing, Valentino Kanzyani, Jack De Marseille.. and I met Ahmad Rashad about 4 years ago..

Most are a lot smaller than how they appear on television.
Linda Carter however...... she's one tall assed woman hehe |
I've run into Bruce Springstein in the town I live in quite a few times, never walked up and approached him. He stops in downtown over here regularly but everyone respects him enough not to make a big deal about it. But he was at my friend's fathers party once a few years ago and I did introduce myself.
Other than that Brooks Robinson, the guy who played Chewbacca, Roy Rogers, and a collection of other fringe celebs |

Back in the 70s I ran a limo business in London and met a long list of well-known people, some briefly, some - as different as Frank Sinatra and Keith Moon - I spent a lot of time with.
The picture that stays with me most from then, was being at one of the VIP suites at Heathrow and watching Prince Faisal of Saudi Arabia and Adnan Khashoggi, finishing up some business and walking to their 'planes: each had his own private 747. That scene made my previous ideas about wealth seem a little naive :) |
