50 famous people
|
The chewlies gum guy is a member of my website.
Insane Clown Posse (several times) Billy Corgan in a used record store in town. Rosanna Arquette a few months ago in Vegas. My husbands Grandfather installed the cameras in the bathrooms for Chuck berry. For some that remember, he liked to voyeur cam women in the restroom. Chuck was a client for a long time. |
I used to work some publicity photo gigs, so I have met 49er's like Steve Young, JJ Stokes, Terrell Owens, Brent Jones and the like.
I played poker with George Hamilton in Vegas, and with the Van Dyke brother from "Coach" in Reno. Met Peter Coyote in a Restaurant in Montana. And I have photographed that famous Candidate for Governor...... Mary Carey....... :winkwink: |
ok I'll bite.
met Miss Fairchild at a carwash in rancho santa fe. Arnold S and Tom Arnold and the guy (played the dad) from different strokes. I met patrick steward in SAn Fran one nite. famous is a matter of relativity, I met grumpy jenkins of chevy fame back in the 70s and little kids used to ask me for my autograph after races. (ran pro gas/outlaw AHRA pro) met bob glidden, animal Jim and that whole crew, but those probably dont mean a thing. Met ron jeremy and dennis h of Bunnyranch fame, hung out in ybor one nite. oh yeah..spent time in ybor on the balcony with gina lynn and tawny. (they ignored everyone though)met most of porndom. I know Brian Miur... and I used to party sometimes with jeff and them from busty amateurs back in the day. spent a week off/on set with Ice T or cube or whatever in vegas on a porn shoot. famous people, My uncle introduced me to henry kissenger as they were fast friends, and my dad ate lunch with ronnie regan once in a while. I have a friend in the egyptian army who told me the way they dealt with fuckups was to take them out and bury them up to thier chins for a day in the sand. in the daylight. He may not be well known per se but hes famous as far as I'm concerned, not that any of you give a rats ass LOL. I met brad dorf at a eatery in the beverly area once Sat with Korn and their families shooting a video which turned into a 14 hr shoot.... one time someone forgot to put a film blank in the panavsion.. on this shoot. (ohhhh that was a fun one) Um. met vin diesel but that was all it was...just a hi bye. Went to Dennis Quaids birthday party at the sky bar one night. met Joey from friends and gallegher, and also shit, umm piper form WB charmed. I cant remember for shit right now. One of the cool guys I met was the guy who played agent Smith from the matrix, joey to him were all dirt bike people. we ran into "red Man" at avn and hung out - but I wasnt into that but my friends all flipped. I Know quite a few but really its pointless isnt it. There are a lot more but I've been up now about 20 hrs . time to sleep a bit. we had some famous preacher come to our house as kids.. I want to say Pat robertson, but honestly can't remember, I just remember it was a BIG deal, the paper came and all. My family was BIG in the church. so thats all I can remember in my brain faded state. |
Only celebrity I've ever "met" was Gilda Radner after she did the "Gilda Live" show in Chicago in 1980 just long enough for her to come in and say hi and sign autographs for about 10 of us.
Other than that back when I was in JrHi I got to shake hands with Gerald Ford while he was president, just a walkby shake everybody's hand after his speech. |
interesting thread....brings back some memories
:) While I was racing [SCCA Circuit] my trailer was in the paddock next to a nice setup [trailer/mobile home etc....] Just sitting around after bbq'ing some burgers a couple guys stopped by and shot the shit and "indulged" a bit with us. I did not know who Tom Cruise was, and never saw Top Gun [the hit movie that year]. After they left, my crew told me who it was...anyways, during the race the next day, his Nissan's engine imploded right in front of me, and I damn near t-boned him when he spun, but was able to drive off the track through the grass and avoid him. After the race, he thanked me, and we chatted for a bit. It was a neat experience. He loved racing then. Along the same lines, meeting Paul Newman the next week at Mid Ohio was awesome. Did promo pics for some older groups Hall & Oates comes to mind. Did Passport Pics for Rod Stewart and his entourage [including his wife at the time who was preggo....name is slipping my mind]. The dressing room was like a Vicks VapoRub Steam Room. ugh.... |
