our dvds are priced at a very low $5 each and our low shipping will entise the buyer even more.......
our shipping is based on a table rate

our affiliate racio is turning at 2.29%
we stock all our dvds, and usually ship with in 24-72 hours.

there are no set up fee's....no fees of any sort only place our banner code on your website and your done....

People don't read. And since when is 48 to 72 hours fast shipping? Is it so hard to package an order when you get the money?

You might dig some affiliates out of here but they won't be the ones that will sell anything. $5 just doesn't leave room to play.

90% of the sales i get are for at least 10 dvds, since they get free dvds on top of the low prices, i agree $5 a dvd doesnt rake in the $ but when a member buys many dvds it adds up. along with the low pay out rate.
and the 24-72 hours is in the mail on its way.
i get around 150-250 order per day. i am a one man team team here. so in MY opinion its fast shipping, plus all dvds ship priority mail.

For arguments sake I'll use your low end number of 150 sales per day:

150 x 90% = 135 sales per day with orders of 10 DVD's, right?

So you're saying you're shipping at least 1350 dvd's per day BY YOURSELF?

You'd have to work 16 hrs per day just to fulfill 8.5 orders per hour.

How do you pick ALL 10 DVD's in each package, PACK THEM, print up the shipping labels (because you couldn't feasibly write out each one, right?), and get them ready to ship PRIORITY MAIL?

I mean seriously? That means you're doing each order in UNDER six minutes each, dude!

AND WORKING 16 HOURS STRAIGHT EACH DAY WITHOUT EATING, SHITTING, PISSING, TALKING ON THE PHONE OR ANYTHING ELSE!?!?!?!?

What about the days you're getting 250 orders?

i have been doing this for a very long time i have my system that works, as well as a printer that prints out my shipping labels that are made up with every order placed.

i package them and place them in my out box, the postmaster then picks them up and delivers them.
i never said i didnt work less than 16 hours a day. i do work very long days, but this is my job and its what i do. it doesnt matter to me if you beleive me or not. the simple fact is that i do what i say i do, i have been around for a while. my website is ranked at least top 20 on all major search engines. its ranked around 55,000 on alexa as well give or take a few hundred

also like i said i own kwtool.com and im selling it, i have no time to run it any more... these dvds have taken up all my time and im making a good living with it. also i said im only taking on 5 new affiliates.....so as not to over do it.

yes i wholesale dvds in bulk... shipping to canada will be exacly what ups charges me, it ave. about $30-$35 us to ship to canada via ups.

so you end costs is about $4 per dvd shipped, unless you buy in larger numbers... like i can do 1000 xxx dvds for 2000 shipped.
thats only $2 each.

J$.... it's possible, if hes very streamlined over there.

Let's re-evaluate:

He has 4 different order pacakge sizes (5, 10,15 & 20 DVDs)

So he could have 2-4 different postage paid envelopes/mailers ready to go... just pick & stuff the DVD's and they're offf.

He could automatically print out mailing labels with a little encoding about the order on them so he knows what to pick from inventory, or just the invoice number so he can cross ref it...

Then if his inventory is oragnized well.. (ie sequential item #'s for DVDs) it would be pretty quick & easy to jam around and pick the DVD's for each order.


But I could see being able to process up to 1 order per minute if the operation was really streamlined.... if he processed the previous days order every day, it could work out well :)

He would still have to answer phones, order new inventory and whatever else.

So, 80,000 requests in 6 months between the 2 , huh?

I think he just got backed into a corner defending himself and his program & had to whip out some numbers to back people off. However, I believe that there is some truth in the numbers -- somewhere. Like maybe his best day during some big ad campaign was 150-250 orders.... or maybe he substituted DVD's for orders (ie.. ships 150-250 _DVDs_ per day).

But notice after he said the numbers, people started to defend him...
