so how much you guys weigh and height? i know there is some tubby lil creampuff trains out there, i myself have gained weight but i dont care,

I bench 350 - 400, I leg press 1500 to 2000, I squat 600, I do calf raises with 600-900 and I curl 75 to 150 and wrist curl the same. I put about 1000 miles on my road bike this year already... I need to get back up to 4000 a year and I could loose the rest of my gut.

I have nothing to prove to you or anyone else. I just answered the question. But... FYI - I used to be a trainer and a hardcore athlete and have been lifting for 15 years, I am very strict in form & movement, don't bounce or cheat (no momentum) and if you don't belive me then come to Powerhouse Gym in Chatsworth and put your money on the table and I will take it from you. I'm not trying to start a fight with you, but if you knew anything about me or ever met me you wouldn't doubt me one bit. I was the skinniest kid in my high school and all I ever wanted to do was get HUGE... little did I know, all I had to do was nothing... and sit behind this damn machine all day and collect calories. That all changed today - started working out again. $10,000 says I aint BS-ing you.

Yes. 1 rep... that's my max. I did 410 once before, but I was really mad. I got some shoulder problems right now but I did 3 plates (315) last week with no spotter.

And touchy about, too, aren't you? I don't care if you can lift a million pounds, run the mile in 1:42 and squat Land Rovers. I simply made a statement based on that picture (and others I've seen of you). I've seen plenty of people that put up those numbers and you just don't look like you fit the profile. I'm not flying anywhere to put down money and watch you lift heavy shit, I'm not that concerned with the issue. If you're putting 2K on the legs, good for you, I'm impressed.

It's all about periodization, good form, lots of rest, pyramiding & proper breathing. Oh... and practice. Something I'm out of, but not for long. If more than 1 person wants my routines or advice I'll start another thread. This thread is for the fatest GFY members... but you guys better be nice, or me, Sleazy & Aaron will sit on you.

So far it looks like I could sit on all of you. And I bench 640 lbs.

OK, the second sentence was a lie.

Anyway, I know form and technique are important. I'm not seriously into lifting, I mostly do it to pass time. I'm mildly interested in increased strength and not at all interested in body sculpting. I do like to learn, though, and I have spent many hours reading everything I can find on the internet about weight lifting, aerobics and nutrition. My favorite places for discussion are the forae http://www.musclemagazine.com/ Even if you trained for years, I bet some of the people there could be helpful if you're getting back into it.

thats not bad at all, im stuck doing 344 that 300 lbs of plats + the 44 pound bar until i get ahold of some more weights, My max ever benching is 505 squating 600 but that goes back to when I was Incarcerated my second term. I dont eat or work out like I do when I was in the joint. Who does.
