Do you think that USA can stop N. Korea's nuclear program?
Any opinions?..
|
A better question might be: Can the US stop N. Korea's nuclear program without any Americans dying in the process?
|
Probably not.
|
no but here in canada we have a plan that on december 15th all 3500 citizens will stand outside and blow air eastwords for 1 hour sending the arctic cold air towards NKorea freezing their plans in its tracks!
|
I hope we can stop them. This could get pretty messy. :(

no, we won't do anything.

My wish: World Peace----Right, dream on Nick!
they simply have 2 stop them |
of course we can, with 1 nuke on N. Korea.... but we won't because of this whole diplomacy bullshit that stops us from nuking the world =-/
|
If crazy ass pakistan and zionazi israel can have the bomb, why can't north korea?
Australia also has a nuke program, but you didn't hear it from me! |
Lets hope not :Graucho
hehe they wont take no shit or bullying from the USA :1orglaugh |

I don't think that they will bomb them to stop it. If anything North Korea will step back with some sort of increased aid from the US.
|
Sure we can, however some countries managed by idiots, like Kim Jong-Il can only be persuaded by one form of negotiation which we seem to be heading towards.
http://sw.gurroa.cz/b52.jpg Do you want this guy to control nuclear bombs that can reach the United States? http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/3...ongilap150.jpg |
I'm pretty sure we're smart enough to just step back and let the smart people from the UN handle it. You know, the french, germans, russians.
let them handle this one. :1orglaugh |

So you don't mind that North Korea will soon be able to sell a nuclear device to anyone with cash? |
Its also worth pointing out that the USA is the only country that has ever stooped so low as to use an atomic weapon on a civilization, not just once but TWICE - the first was supposed to be a warning they would have surrendered if they were given time but the TEST was not over, think about how the rest of the world views that, I wish somebody would disarm the USA then the rest of the world could relax :2 cents:
|
The US isn't going to do anything. North Korea isn't Iraq. If the US goes into North Korea it will be going into China's back yard, and that's not going to happen. Geopolitics 101.

Building a consensus now would even be more difficult than it was prior to the Iraq war. Not that consensus is a must but the support of China is necessary and Russian support would help. Bush could do it anyway but I think it would be too great a risk to his political career. Also, I think the cost of a large troop commitment would be prohibitive. I won't be surprised if I'm wrong. Way too many factors. You never know when Kim Jong-Il is going to misstep. |

Some military analysts predicted up to 10,000 US deaths in urban combat in Iraq. In 1991, people said the US wasn't trained to fight in the desert against soldiers with 10 years fighting experience. You never know which way it's going to go. |
nope, if we try to stop them. probably another world war, which will lead to the death of human's as we know it. Would probably be a game of "My Nukes Bigger Than Yours!"
