every type of site design has been stolen along the way... within months there will be hundreds of sites that look like that

I think they're VERY popular designs at the moment, if you go to WebInc's and BlueDesignStudio's portofolio you'll see several that follow very similar layouts. Did they copy your deisgns as well?? :winkwink:

it's so very obviously a copy of not only the program we just launched, but also the sites. Yes there are other sites out there with similar layouts, and no, I did not reinvent the wheel. But come on.... we're not looking at the whole of the Net. We're looking at two $10 dollar programs here, with launch dates in the same week, that are remarkably similar.

Layout isn't new.
The coincidences happen all the time as well, and are always suspect, but differences are usually just enough to keep people guessing...

Happened with paying counters, for a dollar sites, join4free sites, "magazine" style sites, it happened when most tours went from longform minimal graphics to non-scrollers with all graphics, it's happening again with the long-scrollers making a comeback, it happened so that you can't tell one program site from another, or one site from another, and it'll keep happening..,

There hasn't been a single original or even remotely unique idea established for as far back as I can remember.

Amp, even if they did snag the idea and the design layouts, who cares? I do not, and most webmasters only care about conversions and $. Hell look at Rogers gimmick, gives you an idea how cheap whores many of us are.


If they convert, I will send traffic to either program.
