Anyone watching Bush at the UN. Is he for real??
He just made the statement that Afghanistan is free and the Taliban are no more. Guess he hasn't talked to his military commanders recently.
What a bunch of bullshit. The only city that is free in Afghanistan is Kabul. The rest of the country is still messed up with Taliban all over the place. |
I just wonder if he can say a sentence without using the word 'terror' or 'terrorist'.
|
damn you beat me to the post!
i really cant even believe he's really saying this shit |
'we are rebuilding over a thousand schools in iraq'
really? :helpme |
where is directfiesta?
|
It always amazes me how many political and military experts visit GFY.

what clan site did you read this off of? I think.. You cannot teach when the there wasnt books made before 1950 in the classrooms You cannot teach when there's 60 students to 1 teacher. You cannot teach when you're firing all of the good teachers. You cannot teach when the computer lap has 1983 Apple Computers. |
the same people we are building up there we will fight in years to come

Go fuck yourself, tool. How long have you been out of school? None of your four applied to where I went to school, and ALL of what I said did. The Bad teachers get fired, The Good teachers go where the money is, and/or the students actually care to learn. Our PCs were so new, the teachers didn't know how to run them. And, I never had a class with more than 29 other students. Even when half the students couldn't speak a word of english, they were forced into classrooms, learned nothing, and slowed down everyone else's progress. |
You can hear in his voice -- Bush is not an optimist or an idealist -- he sounds defensive, and his tone gives him away as one who needs to be justified... While Brazil celebrates the martydom and sacrifice of the UN bombing deaths, Bush goes the other way and calls for revenge... most of his speech was just rehashing the obvious and old information and avoiding the main points of contention -- he wasn't very optimistic, and half of what he said was about sex tourism LOL... Maybe if Bush got a little more nookie he wouldn't be so bitter. I enjoyed Brazil's speech -- the emphasis was on feeding the hungry and opening relationships between borders... that's really the solution... As Brazil said there's enough wealth and technology in this world for everyone to enjoy the benefits -- primarily of eating food, all it will take is some optimism and imagination... when everyone is eating their fill of food there's not really much to be angry about, even among terrorists.

i remember school. we had apple II's, and i made logowriter drawings.
it must have been foreshadowing, for look what i do now. our fanciest of fanciest computer lab had p166 hp vectras. whee!! and that was like my last year or two in HS. most of the HS labs were filled with apple junk "powerpcs", or the ibm ps/2 things (probably 486s or very early pentiums). but damn we played a lot of descent and doom on those boxes. lan parties at school r0x0rz! |

Things are changing, especially with our relationship to developing nations. The failure of the last WTO meeting in Cancun showed that if the poorer countries band together they can get something done.

So how many times did Bush end up saying 'terror' ?

"greater expansion of control" by Nato is just another one of those ambiguous phrases that really says nothing. Even in Kabul..the President dares not leave his residence without a HUGE bodyguard detail and his wearing body armor. Where the Taliban is not in control of the country side, the war lords are! Yep..we sure did make Afghanistan FREE & Stable! What a joke! |
