Calling all canadians

I know this is a hard one but I am going to spend 5 days in North Bay next week and am looking to find something to do with my spare time.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do in North Bay, Ontario? (Besides the Dionne Quints museum)

Ideally, it would involve bears. Any suggestions?

who, in their right mind, would want to call all canadians?

rent some quads - find some trails

There are nice canoeing routes near there. Do an overnight canoe trip as I am sure there is an outfitter that can rent you the tent, sleeping bag...as well as the canoe.

You can visit the Bombardier plant where they refurbish water bomber planes, it's next to the airport.
Besides that, I have no idea, never spent more than an hour in that part of the area.

Beer, quads, trails, and a good rifle to plink with sounds like a week or two to me... besides i know you have awesome fishing out there. I'd kill for a month of that alone.

You can even see the Northern Lights from North Bay which for me, would be worth the trip alone.

Ok, well... first off you will need to to get a bunch of dedicated long distance lines. Probably digital PRI lines. Each line gives you like 30 outbound lines I tihnk.... so do a little math based on how many households are in Canada & figure how how many PRI lines you would need to complete the calls to all Candians in whatever timeframe you are looking to do it in.

But a word of advice - DO NOT use bears. While they will work for peanuts (or anything else you dump on the table in front of them) - they can't close worth shit, and frankly, they intimidate people. But if you feel you must use bears at least try to find some ex-circus bears as they have more expierience working with people.

Hope this helped :thumbsup.

I meant bears http://www.zerocross.com/images/arti...70644479_1.jpg

but even though they lack closing skills, I am more focused on sales per kilo of salesman, a metric in which our ursine cousins are unmatched!

my friend goes to nippissing university and every day they post notices about where bears were seen on campus today. I am sure to find a top performer sometime in the 5 days.

goBigtime 09-10-2003 12:30 AM

Oh you're selling Kilos? You should have said that from the get go. You'll have much better results in the states since its making a big comeback here.

But be sure you get your CIA approved dealer registration card renewed or you could run into some big problems. But I guess you were trying to circumvent all that with the "bears" thing. I suppose you are right though - using bears to get your goods into Canada is probably not a bad idea.

You might also consider moose antlers - but that's just between you and me. :winkwink:
