Bought two jetskis today

But I didn't plan to. I took my crew out for some fun on the lake, and I accidentally ran over Tanker's jetski. Trashed both of them. Ripped the top of his and the bottom off mine.

We are both fine, no injuries.

Next time we need a break, we are going to a strip club.

strip club might be a bit less pricey. Unless you're like I get when I get just a bit too much booze into me

pepa 08-12-2003 11:04 PM

First rule of jetskiing is not to go out drunk, the second rule is to keep a safe distance between jetski's.. I've seen a guy lose all his front teeth in a jetski accident, it wasnt too purdy.

SteveLightspeed 08-12-2003 11:05 PM

We were all completely sober. We just like to play rough.

WiredGuy 08-12-2003 11:15 PM

Glad you guys are alright! Play hard but keep safe :)

Less jestski violence, more topless LSU girls on jet skits.

We went back to the rental shop, two hours early, and started the conversation with "Well, the good news is they didn't sink even with so much damage..."

She wasn't too amused.

TheJimmy 08-12-2003 11:53 PM

As we did the long travel from Spain, after internext we spent some extra days at Miami for relaxing. One of that days we had the "great idea" of renting 2 jetskis at Miami South Beach with my partner Dynaspain, it was really funny jumping on the sea waves, racing, doing all kind of wild stuff etc but the following day ufffffff our back, legs, ass and arms muscles hurted really bad. We couldn't even go into/out of our rented car without pain etc, we felt so bad for 3 days, damn i need to come back to the gym to recover my old good shape, it really hurted :) so for anybody thinking on getting jetskis, if you're not in good shape don't try to ride them for 1 hour at full machine over the sea waves, you will regret for sure the following days.

LeeNoga 08-13-2003 11:54 AM

Not often 2 jetski's collide, its the boat vs. jetski here in Fla, another jetskier was killed a couple of days ago.

I have to admit they annoy me when I am down the causeway and out the inlet, they have the WHOLE freaking ocean and they have to do drive by's near the boats and send us the wakes.

Ok, I was holding back.

I HATE FUCKING jetskiers's, they cross over our fishing lines, suck up our line and burn up the bearings in the reels before we can cut loose.

Ya got all that water, stay the hell away from structures or other boats, I believe there is a 100 yard law or something?

I feel better.

Maybe I need to buy one too.

Odie 08-13-2003 12:10 PM

we just bought 2 supercharged ones for our cottage, 3 seaters and boy can they go!!!

only problem up here in Canada is that u need a licence to drive one of them now....anything under 9 feet...sucks...

a couple of guys died a month ago when they crashed into eachother...drinking and driving...idiots!

BradShaw 08-13-2003 12:11 PM

Lee, get a good 2-3oz weight and put it on a nice casting rod. Sling it at a few jet skiers, it will teach them a lesson. Or try a sling shot.

I love living on a private lake, very laid back, not too many idiots. Someone like Steve would be kicked outside the gates in 10 mins.

As you can see, some people can buy Jetskis and not run them into each other like crackheads. Says a lot that you had to rent a jetski in the first place. Once again, people showing no respect for others property.

Aren't those waterscooters?

LeeNoga 08-13-2003 01:10 PM

Brad, funny you should mention casting some weight at their heads, we talked to the marine patrol about what happens if we...

we........

we.....

...accidentally boinked one of them while fishing.

He grinned, and said, it would a tragic accident and smiled :-)

I hate them skiers, they do not work with us boaters and are such a nuisance to us.

They need to go run the breakwaters and riptides at the inlet opening and get the shit scared out of them OR.......

They ought not put their feet in the water in the Atlantic, they HAVE no idea what lurks below, one day they will get it.

Damn, I want to go fishing, and my boat remains broke after nearly 8 weeks, I am so depressed, cannot get parts for this old old old engine.

So maybe I need to rent some ski's and raise some hell and teach them youngins something about water respect :-)
