So my cousin, "Jen" went out with some older guy, she's 16 he's 30 something (I know stupid girl and guy)

Anyway, he convinced her to take some photos... and now about 2 months later they broke up.

She asked for the photos and the negatives and he said that since it was his camera he was only going to give her one set of the photos, he would keep the negatives and the 2nd sec.

A week after they break up a friend of that fucker walks up to her and give her this sleazy look and tells her I see you've been added to "the book" She told him to fuck etc...

So besides beating this guy to a pulp, what the fuck am I suppose to do? She won't tell me his name...

And sexwise they did nothing wrong, age of consent in Hawaii was 14 now is 16, its the photo part...AND the fact that this fuck has done it before...:mad:

If it were me, I'd ask to see the pics "just so I could get to the bottom of things"

I don't know if there's a whole lot you can do.

Looks like she gave consent to take those pictures and she is/was of legal age so you arent really left with much recourse, unless you can find a creative lawyer that can come up with something. But hey, a good beating goes a long way sometimes.

I was thinking I could call the police, but she just really doesn't want the pics seem by more ppl...

But he still is in possesion of CP...so wtf?

She may have given consent to having sex with this ass....but, she didn't consent to him publicizing her pics. I do agree though that seeing a good lawyer might be in order though.....seems more people are afraid of being potentially sued then of going to jail :)

If the pictures are lascivious it is CP under Federal law even if she above the age of consent under Hawaii law.

"Jen" doesn't want to take legal action as then the whole island knows...and well you can guess how that all goes.

Well, the good thing is that very few people will look down on someone for something they did when they were 16 and foolish.

It's time to call the areas Prosecutors office gf. Age of consent has no bearing on the laws covering photos. And in most states that age of consent only applies if the guy is under a certain age. They can charge him with a multitude of other things besides statutory rape.

In alot of these cases they will keep it on the QT and if it turns out that they DO charge him, she will be shielded from the press due to her age. It's a faxt that these dirtbags tend to get worse each time they get 'away' with something. Whats next? A 13 yr old??

If I could get her to tell me who this guy is, do you think an Anonymous call to the police would do any good?

A 'tip' would no doubt get him arrested but the police would still have to ID the girls in the pics... The question is, does your cousin want all the other girls searched out? Or would she prefer to put the guy away herself and save the other girls the anguish of going thru court? With the one witness and the pics for backup as to other times he did this, they may leave the other girls alone.

They would keep the courtroom closed and sneak her in and out easily enough to protect her ID since she is under 18. Or might use a remote location with video. There is no way they could or would even try him without at least one witness on that stand. Thats not the way the law works. No matter how we may hate that part of the legal system (in this case), you still have the right to face your accuser.

Damn I just don't know if she'll do it...

Personally I can only try to imagine how hard it is to live on a small island. ;-) The hubby lived for about a yr in a very small town and he hated the fact that if you took your shower every night at 9pm, that after a week the whole town knew it. lol All I remember is always living in a large(r) city so never dealt with the small population thing.

In this case you need to use the tact that she needs to shut this guy down before he gets worse. They get braver and braver with time. Ask her flat out if she wants to read where this jerk kills some 10 yr old in a year or two? And could she live with that in her head, knowing she could have shut him down? If she says she could, then she has-had no business saying she was able to act on the age of consent.

We have a local creep. He used to run up to women with a camera while he was naked. Snapped a pic of the womans reaction. Just last week, he GRABBED a woman that he did that to and tried to drag her into an apartment building. Alot of people sort of chuckled about the naked and pic part (it went on for a year or so) but NOW its serious. Who knows what he will graduate to next. Its pretty obvious what his intentions were when he tried to take the woman into a building and out of sight.
