I always have problems with the trouble tickets as well, I just call and get someone on the phone, or get your rep on icq

well i dont blieve that spam here , but they answer in 2 min when people ask for host .. like me .. when i did last week...

icq support is always online , but rarely someone replies

i tried 5 times noone respond ..

3 days before i wrote a ticket noone reply ...

what i have to do next really ?

Whenever I have had a problem I have been able to get support on the phone right away. They have someone 24/7 there.

ICQ is very good at dropping messages. I email support with non-urgent requests, and they're always cleared up within a few days, which is perfectly acceptable.

the biggest problem that Hosting companies encounter is their inability to resolved a client's concern as soon as possible. Not all hosting companies provide Online Live Support (Chat/Phone/email, etc). downtime is really a probelm right now and everyone's concern.

Actually a properly maintained trouble ticket system is much better than ICQing regarding a problem. It lets all of the techs have access to a database of problems which have occured on a server and they can search through previous issues to see if this is a recurring problem and what steps have already been taken.

The problem is that a lot of people seem to think that ticketing system = no live support, that is in fact not true, ticketing systems keep a noc more organized and actually allow for a quicker turn around on issues than simply being bombarded by ICQ or phone. That should only be used for serious and immediately pressing issues.

Anyway a properly maintained working ticketing system is much more preferred.
