Whats the matter? I hope it will be OK

They said she has colitis (?)...apparently, there is something wrong with her colon. Originally, they wanted to keep her for observation for a few hours...that was yesterday. Now they are saying that I should be able to pick her up on Monday.

Dam...my mom has that also...:(

I know you miss her, but being at the vet's for her is best right now to help them get a complete diagnosis.

Colitus is a generalized term for many problems in the intestines. It can range from IBD (which my Persian has) to LPIBD with several diseases in between. It can be acute (sudden) or chronic (long term). A thorough diagnosis is the best way to go rather than some shotgun methods of trying meds, food changes, etc in hopes that something works.

She'll be fine and so happy to see you on Monday.
