In most states that have the law on the books...its around 13 states....most abolished them. I also posted Utah's law.... :)

This is the second thread I've seen in the last ten minutes where VideoVoyeur has posted his misinterpretation of the law... and in this thread, he seems to think that just because it's not what *he* thinks it is, then it's worthless.

VV, up until yesterday, if you were caught getting a blowjob in Virginia, you could be charged with Sodomy.

The law defines it as "deviant" sex - which *includes* anal sex, but is not *limited to* anal sex. It also includes oral sex and sex with an object (such as a toy or vibrator).
Just because you don't know any better doesn't make it so.
Ignorance of the law is no excuse and cannot be used as a defense.

Wow...I missed the toy reference...what a trip. Alabama had a law against sex toys- not sure if they still do. I wonder if this will have an effect on that.
