dont waste your time or your money ...
contact Mark Tiarra He will design you a paysite that WILL convert, and he will do it at YOUR budget. BTW think about it ... these people all cringe at the thought of competition, you really think they are going to give you good advice? :thumbsup |

This thread really illustrates how it's all about perspective.
|
1. No Partners Excluding Affiliates
2. Exclusive Content 3. Not something that everyone else is doing 4. No Popups 5. Weekly Updates w/calendar in member area 6. A Real simple easy to load plain text tour, surfers dont care how fancy your site is they care about the content 7. Dont under-estimate surfers many can jerk off to your 30 second trailer, make sure you really really are careful while building trailers 8. Dont judge conversion based on Exit Traffic or all those so called Traffic Brokers 9. Don't shoot your content out of the country when you start out regardless of how good the deals are. 10. Use as many models as possible, and show them all in the tour. Not everyone likes blondes etc. 11. A Real Host 12. A real billing company 13. If you plan on pinching pennies on stuff like Billing and hosting and shooting quality content you are better off not getting into this. 14. Do not spam 15. Do not Kill 16. One shall not.... |

You should try to do a niche that you are interested in. If not, do make sure that you research it and find surfer board pertaining to it that you can watch for six months . :)

then again, only because I like lesbians more than other categories doesnt mean I dont like the others as well and that I cant make a nice paysite for that category
I still have alot of thinking to do about my project, I need to learn about every detail first =) |
I use to own lickalesbian.com but I let it expire since I decided not to do any lesbian sites.
You can see if they would sell it to you.. It's not being used for porn... [email protected] |

"Lesson #2 - Understanding the Needs of a Paysite
A paysite is an investment. There is no way to open a competitive paysite without spending a minimum of $1000.00. The days where one could have 250 good pictures and make decent money off memberships is gone. Today's paysite has thousands of updated images, full-length video streams, live chat with models and many..." I'd say that site could use an update. That number should be at least $10,000 in today's market. |

Bottom line is unless you know enough that you don't have to ask anyone questions, or unless you have the cash to hire a consultant like Tiarra or KimmyKim to walk you through things, you're not ready to start a paysite. |

You can tweak your paysite to run so smooth that you can more or less avoid support issus. Having said that you can find your self kneehigh in capital letters emails from more or less enraged members at any time (usually AOL noobs).
So get ready for 24 hour a day support jour, or rent support but that as so much else will drive up your overheads. Most third party billing companies have a 48 hour support clause. Ie your bound to give support response within 48 hours or risk loosing their service. A paysite is like a greedy baby screaming for breastfeed around the clock. And still there might be little of value pooping out in the other end:Graucho I have found promotion to be the hardest and most time consuming part. Making a kick ass site is relatively easy. |
you should never start a paysite with the check Lens owes you!
|
the design should be THE LAST to worry about on a paysite
