My guess would be everyones blowing their load to your 11 pages of real hardcore images on the tour and never getting the chance to pull out their cc's!

Have you tried a Trial price?

tone down the hardcore. You want to tease surfers, not give away everything before they buy!

Shit I never clicked through to see there was only a monthly option, well that counts out a ton of surfers.

It's a great site, but a standard movie site with no trial
when there's so many sites like that now with trails or even 1 day free access has got to be pretty fucking amazing.

You probably need some exclusive stuff on the tour to
get people interested.

the doesn't convert results come from affiliate stats or from your own testing? With highspeed/broadband traffic it will perform decent....now the problem is that dialup surfers seek for movies as well. Your tour took a lot of time to load on my 56k and if I would be a surfer I would probably close it. You might be surprised but 56k surfers belong to the majority members of movie paysites. If you miss this fact you are in trouble :-)

Try a lighter version of your tour. Use 1-2 thumbs per movie scene. Check what % of your traffic reaches the join link.

well i tried 7 day trial, never tried a 1 day trial etc...

if you ask a major per signup sponsor with movie paysites will tell you the same. At least that is what used to be not that long time ago. If you ask AdultBouncer it will tell you probably the opposite, they focus on high speed surfers.

Paysites are an illusion. For example adultmovienetwork or adultmoviestation sell an illusion in their tours. Both dialup and high speed surfers have an expectation till they hit the members area. On the other hand raremoviesite closes the door to the dialup surfers since it will take them a whole day to download a scene. As i said, with targetted high speed traffic it should do good.

Also, try to offer clips with resolutions if you want to increase retaining.

I tried a slightly lower grade tour but still same problem but u are rright the site is maninly aimed at Broadband users...

results from affiliate stats... the few which have tried it.

How much traffic have you tested it with and what are sources?

I would try to get my hands on some traffic that I know converts on a similar site decently and test with that. Finding such traffic unless you have it yourself might be hard though.

Catchy name, but are you really offering "rare" movies.
The ones shown on the tour didn't look "rare".
And do you really have 8000 gigs of content?
Like in 100 dedicated each with 80 gig drives?
Most surfers would realize that this is unlikely unless you are
part of an AVS, and you don't tout that in the tour.

Add some free preview movies (15-30secs) to show your visitors the quality of your movies.

I don't have anything new to offer but I would echo many of the other comments. I would think that the main reason you're not getting the signups you want is because of the lack of a trial though.

Do you think you might be losing potential signups because of the flashing 'Click here for free videos' button that goes to the join page and doesn't actually give me a free video sample?

One more thing. Check the site on netscape cause there's something funky going on with the graphics at the top of the page on my mac. I had to look at it on my PC to see it correctly.

change up the images on the front. give some more variety. all the pics have the same theme...:2 cents:

Make it look like a paysite not like a free site, meaning the layout looks alot like many of those free movie sites.

Personally, the first thing that caught my eye was "toll free phone access" which got me to think "damn, dialer access", then in smaller print you have "to our models".

"Click here for free videos" leads to a join page... Ummmm. Your free videos cost $28.95. If you are going to have that, you might want to have a free 30 minute trial or have a couple 30 second trailers.

If you cater to both highspeed and dialup users, State this. Let the people know what bandwidth types the movies come in, so before they spend $29 they know they will be able to watch it.

On the join page, the CC option is below my screen on 800x600, so I have to scroll down, remove the top header that says Click here for free porn, and such, so that people can see the Credit card option without having to scroll. (A lot of surfers still use 800x600).

Looks just like the old Qmov layout, but your screen caps are not nearly as good.

Cut the tour to a minimum and put ya best stuff up..
I did better signup wise with a pay site by posting gallerys and having a link to join right on that with NO tour..
They wanted to see 300 more pix of her and large movies they had to pay, had 20,000 more pix there and advertised that too..
Not sure of the actual stats on pay site members but just over 50 percent of the net is on Wideband and it's growing everyday..
Put some Zip vids in and advertise it for people on dialups...
Most people that stay in a pay site do it because they're on Web TV and can't save stroking material of they don't know they'll be rebilled after a few day trial and some don't catch it for years...

I?d ditch all that ?toll free access? to the models, whatever that is. There can?t be that many people with $28.95 that would want to talk to a fat girl in a trailer in Indiana, even for free.
