I lost 12kg's
I'm a pretty solid guy and 3 months ago my weight was 130kg.
Today at the gym I jumped on the scales and it said 118kg. I lose 12kgs (24 pounds) in 12 weeks. There is no magic book or special soop, just a simple rule. Eat your normal meals -- just cut them down so your not eating as much. I was eating 12 slices of bread a day, very very bad! The diet I went on was high fat, low carbs. Cut our bread, lollies, chips, pies, biscutes etc and eat eggs and bacon and some other high fat foods but not excessive amounts. My goal is 110kgs and I hope to make it in the next 6 months. As webmasters we tend to spend more time on the computer then we should. Just wondering if anyone else has been in my position before? Please share. :D |
Another metric poster.
My friend, I do not have a metric converting table taped to my monitor, can you like do the pounds thing too, this metric conversion is way to heady......... :ak47: |

1 kilo = 2.2 lbs
|
Nice job Zorgman :thumbsup
|
Thanks Bex, but I cannot see me taking the time and doing the math :-) It would be nice to talk metric for those don't understand why America is not metric, and in pounds for us Americans who blame our parents....
:-) |
I'm 6'4, and about 113kg at the moment. Wanna get myself down to about 100. But christ, i'm just so fucking lazy.
|
I weight 83 kilos. 11 more to go. Will my dick get smaller, if I lose weight?

chodadog, it's not about lazy, it's about proper food. that's all. change your eating habbits and your are 70% there. the rest is just a little excercise. excercise will speed up the process but you will lose it anway if you eat on time, not too much and proper food. Normal weight loss is 0,5kg (1lbs)/week.

smaller than 1 inch... oh no... :(

Yeah it is weird, being in Canada I use a mix of metric and imperial measures. Most weights I use lbs (especially fish), pool water has to be in farenheit, air temp needs to be in celcius, when building I use feet and inches, speeds should be in km. Metric makes a whole lot more sense (that whole base 10 thing). I guess I blame my parents and proximity to the states for all the imperial stuff I still use :1orglaugh |
congratulations :thumbsup

Nice work Zorgman!
That's good weight loss in 12 weeks. I've always been weary of the Atkins style diets though...the high fat thing ya know.. I've been on a workout plan myself for a couple of weeks now...6 small meals a day, like you said it's the same healthy foods just less of them. That and 6 days a week in the gym, hopefully I'll see results like yours in 10 weeks :thumbsup |

Anyone else believe in drinking red bull in the morning for the metabolism kick off? All those B6 and B12 fuel burners?
Yup, its all about burn off vs intake, limit starchs, anything good forget it unless regulating proportions. Forget the subway diet, my friend has gotten so fat doing that! |

if you are in diet forget bread and sugar
if you are not in diet forget bread and sugar you get my point, these two will kill your diet and result in gaining fat. I'm sugar free the last 8 months and I avoid bread as much as possible. My problem is that I can't stop coke and the rest soda drinks...... oh well |
At first I thought this thread said I lost 12g's...
Too bad. :( |
Cut carbs before 6pm....that way you have time to digest them the rest of the day. And dont eat 3hrs before sleep, that has been a good set of rules for me.
|
Yo Adrian, remember if you work out at the gym your bound to put on weight as mussle ways 3 times as much as fat does. :thumbsup
Wholemeal bread is better for you then white bread. I have 2 toasted pieces of wholemeal bread in the morning OR whenever I wake up. lol |
if you are on diet FORGET WEIGHTLIFTING/BODYBUILDING
this is the no1 mistake most people do (including me due to addiction to gym). When you need to lose weight/fat you don't deal with weights. Swimming, running, bicycling etc are great and will help you change your metabolism faster. :thumbsup |
Soul_Rebel, I agree. Do cardio, not weights. :thumbsup
