Made these ribs by rubbing salt and brown sugar on them and doing a fast glaze to start, then soaked in flavourtown honey sauce for a couple hours Then put in the oven for 4 hours on 275 wrapped in foil, adding a little beer every hour then a final foil-wrap-off 20 minutes for the 2nd glaze... Then final before serving poured some drippings on the ribs... craaaaaaaazy good! :pimp |

Can also braise chuck roast with root vegetables for a lot of protein on a budget. |
Depends of the quality.
From 6€/kg in the supermarket to 12-15€/kg in the butcher |
$10 dozen pasture raised soy free organic fed brown chicken eggs. Boil 6.5 minutes. Sprinkle with sea salt. Do this daily. Never gets old.

WTF!
Are you people tracking me? I just bought pork ribs for the first time in a year, 20 minutes ago. I got a decent rack for $12+; but it's from the cheapest store in town for pork. Would cost at least $16 at another store. :2 cents: |

I usually smoke them for 3 hours though. Maybe I'll get up off my ass and clean the grill though. :) |

This time I took the old chunk of OLD brown sugar and really rubbed it into the meat, did the black pepper + salt rub too, then stabbed the ribs up with a fork and let it soak in apple cider for an hour... Then I coated it in flavourtown honey sauce and marinated it for like 2 hours... then did 5 hours in the oven at 275... Served with white rice, broccoli, and poured some drippings on the rice + ribs before serving Baby mama and kid flavourmaxxed and were practically fighting over the leftovers while I sipped apple cider and chugged gas station vodka when nobody was looking... another incredible dinner! Totally understand why people open restaurants... making good food can seem like alchemy sometimes and watching people enjoy what you cook is so nice. Sometimes I wonder how fun it would be to own a bed and breakfast where you cooked people breakfast and dinner and just ran a business to keep people coming back and the business in black... I wonder if any rich GFY'er has fucked off and opened a bed and breakfast? Seems like a chill lifestyle that I'd enjoy |
