Never tried their steak but the Prime Rib there is decent, I will make a point to order a steak next time I eat there.

Some of my favorite places include:
Mortons, Ruths' Chris and Don Shula's

Best steak I ever had was at The Greenroom in Deep Ellum (downtown Dallas).

Beastiepoo 05-21-2003 09:16 AM

Prolly the best steak restaraunt was Ruth Chris in Annapolis, MD. I've had a few nice ones here in the UK but nothing that sticks out in my mind recently. My hubby had an awesome steak in Andorra - it was cooked on a grill over a log fire.

I don't know if any of you have a Damon's chain but they make a hell of a good Sirloin Gorganzola....It's a sirloin with some gorganzola blue cheese crumbled on top...then you add some kind of peppercorn sauce that they provide over that...

Umm umm.....I think I'll have one this weekend......

pornguy 05-21-2003 09:28 AM

Want to have the best steak that you will ever get??

Go to the store and buy a good cut. Grab a box of mortons kosher salt.

the salt is very coars so you dont kneed much. Sprinkle some on both sides and throw it on the grill...

It will taste better than any you have ever had in any food chain!!!

TheGuyWhoKnows 05-21-2003 09:44 AM

I was there too, its right next to the chinese place, and close to Greenbergs Deli.

It was good

JerseyPuma 05-21-2003 09:51 AM

Peter Luger's is bomb.

Ben Benson's makes a KILLER martini to go with your filet.

Smith and Wollenski don't play around.

Do not sleep on Bern's in Tampa.

There ya go.

BRISK 05-21-2003 09:52 AM

I vote for The Met (The Metropolitan Grill) in Seattle too -- the best I've ever had

[illnet]-Romeo 05-21-2003 10:10 AM

KBizzle, what up. Bern's is good for sure but next time you're in Tampa let me know and we'll goto Charley's. Little less atmosphere than Bern's but they cook on an open wood chip fire pit. The steaks come out money :thumbsup

angelsofporn 05-21-2003 10:18 AM
