50 steakhouses
|
The Log Cabin - Galena, Illinois.
Mmm... |
Cimarron Steak House
Oklahoma City OK |
One of the best steaks I've ever had was at a place in Fort Lauderdale, called Down Under. Stuffed with oysters, it was yummy.
The other best is mine. |
Steak sauce anyone? I personally would never drown bbq sauce or peppercorn...sauces on a good cut of meat.
|
CNBC just had a live report from Smith & Wollansky's in Manhattan interviewing people whether they were scared to eat steak because of the Mad Cow Disease scare today. They are a publicly traded stock and don't look like they have done well since they started trading 2 years ago.

Delmonicos -Las Vegas
Smith & Wollensky -Philadelphia |
Eddie V's
Austin, TX |
Delmonico in both Vegas and New Orleans ROCK.
Dicky Brennan's in New Orleans. The Palm in Dallas. Tuscan Steak in Miami. T Cooks (at the Royal Palms Resort) here in Phoenix... along with Michaels at the Citadel... and Lon's at the Hermosa (the place we had our ePassporte/Epoch dinner during the Forum)... Roaring Fork here in Phx too... |
we have Dammon's here in michigan, best damn prime rib i have ever eaten.
|
Damon's
and Outback |
emba's in brooklyn. by far the best i have ever had; filet mignon that you can cut with a knife :thumbsup
|
What cut of steak do you go for? I am the large portion type - so Porterhouse all the way.
|
filet.
|
Dynaspain,
I concur on Hollywood prime. It's at the Hotel for internext coming up. It was great but very, very expensive. Delmonico's is great too. My favorite. Capital Grille. howard |

And thats not just because I live about ten blocks from it either! Next time you go ask them about the 'Instant Credit' Hahahaha! |
Filet @ Angelo & Maxies In NYC, the best i've tried so far..
Liked it better then Peter Lugar's |
Mmmm, Steak...
Heres' some of my favorites, the one at delmonicos was damn tasty, I think they served it with Worcester Sauce, that fucking kicks ass... Delmonico' s Mortons's A.J.'s Steakhouse at Hard Rock casino in Vegas But I like most steakhouse places steaks. I don't like the ones at the fucking outback, they cook em fried style, not bbq style... WTF is up with that shit. Now what is everyones favorite steak cut? I like the NY strips .... mmmm cow.... |

Bones - Atlanta GA
Ruth Chris - Toronto |
Seattle, WA:
El Gaucho - their chateau brillond is out of this world Also - Snoqualmie falls - their chateau brillon is outstanding as well, but Gaucho's was better - both were pretty reasonably priced at $100 |
Best steak I've ever had was at Charely's Steakhouse in Tampa!
Mmmmmm :thumbsup Ryan |

In Vegas, I liked Delmonico's, but i thought that Emeril's was even better, and the service kicked ass! I had a 28 oz porterhouse that you would have walked over glass for!!

Best Steak Houses I have eaten at:
Lee Hamilton - location: Caracas, Venezuela, 20 oz. T-Bone, very nice cut. (my father ordered the Wild Boar - which was also fucking awesome, although a little gamey) The Butchery - location: Caracas, Venezuela, Center Cut Filet, brought to table on an individual grill. Waiter stands there the entire time you are eating, cutting you pieces of the meat, and cooking each one to order. Smith & Wolensky - location: Miami - very nice cuts, wide variety. Awesome Ribeye. |

The Met is better, I think its about 120$ Has a light crust of Wasabi, just for a added kick. You can barely taste it, but its very very nice. Fuck this thread has me, I am going to Mortons tonight. Its all I got around here :( |
We grilled filets last night, was awesome...
|
Ruth's Chris- Beverly Hills
|
N9NE Steakhouse at the Palms is my favorite. Food is great, plus awesome atmosphere, cool bar, and there are always tons of hot chicks there
:thumbsup |
Looks like Canda is going to have a surplus of steak for a while since the US stopped importing beef until the mad cow disease thingy is over.
The best in Tucson AZ McMahons Little Abners Best I have had outside of my house is Smith and Wollensky in Las Vegas Dry aged Prime beef is the key to a great steak, it's hard to find and very pricey |
even if it is a chain Ruth's Chris is pretty damn good steak
|
It may be like the McDonalds of steakhouses, but I've personally never had a bad steak at The Keg.
Anytime I eat at a fancy steak house I find it usually tastes like shit. It's like they use crappier meat that they try to cover up by leaving it bloody rare and throwing spices all over it. I ate at the restaurant on the top of the CN Tower in Toronto a few months ago and it was the worst food I ever had. Coulda had three steaks from the Keg for the same price. :) |
Houstons - Los Angeles (Woodland Hills) :thumbsup

(Chef: "Hey, let's not cook the thing at all, he'll think he's getting a really good steak.") |

Correct that's why it's on my list. Last year I ate there twice during the Internext show and it was simply awesome so for the people who go to Internext I can really recommend Hollywood Prime inside the Westin Diplomat. For sure I'll eat steak there at least twice this year. Rooms and Flights are already booked......can't wait :thumbsup DynaMite :glugglug |
Red Square
Mandalay Bay Las Vegas try the dirty martini with the blue cheese stuffed olives |

The original Ruth's Chris in New Orleans is a classic.
Dickie Brennan's in New Orleans is decent. LB's which is in a casino in Mississippi is great, has a bone in filet... only place I have ever seen that -and its very tasty. Berns in Tampa is another classic.... Peter Luger;s, in Brooklyn is another classic place... I think Smith & Wolensky is over rated, as well as Mortons... Shula's is not to bad... only been to the one in Tampa. |
